SEEN AND HEARD AT NATIONALS PARK

Like most people around the country, the Nationals were surprised and interested Wednesday afternoon to hear about the earthquake that shook Southern California.

Unlike most others, though, the Nationals recognized they missed experiencing the event firsthand by less than 48 hours. Washington finished a three-game series at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, and several players wished they had witnessed the magnitude of the 5.4 temblor.

Yes, some of them have a sick sense of humor.
