The card check bill is just one more control parameter of the Democrats, their army of lawyers, environmentalists and organized labor and Obama over corporations. We are NOT the U.S.S.A. (United Socialist States of America) we are the U.S.A. (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) When the free market corporations go, we will have nationalized commerce. We will end up like France, 53.4% of the GNP going to government social programs. Go against those guys in the new world order and you can take your M.B.A. or doctorate and flip burgers at McDonalds or work with the returning Vets in Obama's CCC to pick up garbage.

A few words taken from Barrack Obama’s first resume. That post was a lot of work dante805, but you got your point across. I think the resume was written AFTER he became a state senator because he would not have used the word "gleaming" until he approved a bill allowing babies surviving abortions to be placed on hospital beds to die. he would not have listed "swaggering" until he approved the idea of allowing a man to marry a man. "Accomplished" came after 23 years of tutoring by Rev. Wright on how to hate white folk.

This is a perfect example of what to expect from Obama’s naiveté. His experience doesn’t encompass the damage that Union strong-arm tactics can wreak. This secret ballot is simply an invitation to relive the past. A past that Obama missed and a lesson, among many, that he never learned.

This really shows whose pocket Nobama is in. Unfortunately for Americans, all of the special interests he is beholden to are the wrong things for a majority of the people. This empty suit emphasizes change, change, change. We need to realize that the change he is talking about is the change you will have left in your pocket after his income redistributing tax plans.

Of course the workers should have the right to secret ballots, that way the union thugs can't use force and intimidation to influence the ballot. Of course Obama supports the unions that don't want a secret ballot, the more union dues they can forces out of people the more bribe money to give to Obama.

Card Check will be a disaster for the workers! As a former union steward, I have great respect for the union and the ability to organize; however, when you strip out the secret ballot as part of the process, everyone loses. Our country was founded on the right of a secret ballot for elections of all types, from presidential down. If card check is successful, what will be the next secret ballot that Obama and his gang of Socialists/Marxists decide we don't need.

Well, this just confirms the fears and accusations about B.O. that were already there. Yep, this will really help the American economy---more union influence and power. If this phony gets into the Oval Office get ready to hear an even bigger GIANT SUCKING SOUND of jobs and businesses heading offshore, and the trade deficit skyrocketing even further. Instead of electing B.O. why don't we just shoot ourself in the head?

If this really is seen by the AFL-CIO as a way to boost union rolls by "hundreds of thousands", what does that imply? Doesn't it imply that given the chance to vote in a secret ballot that the AFL-CIO believes it will lose in many cases? I wonder if this Democratic Congress would consider forgoing all "voice" votes on the floor that are used to hide just how individual members vote? Note to Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania: So how well is the heavily unionized steel and auto industries doing these days?

And this topic alone will move more people into the red column then you can believe. Unions are outdated and the government which the unions want so much of, has taken over the union functions. The unions no longer protect the health and welfare; it's OSHA, NIOSHA, EPA and other agencies that have provided the greatest health benefits to workers. It is also the greed of the unions that has cost us so many jobs. Although I like and enjoy my Avalanche, it has had more then its share of problems construction related not design related and hoping for 75,000 miles before total collapse. My Toyota that I inherited from my mother has 164,000 miles with only the same standard maintinance as performed for my truck. At 62,000 miles the Avalanche has spent 48 days in the shop and its not even the 4 wheel drive model. BHO is a fool to support such legislation and a bigger fool to do so publicly.

As soon as the Democrats enable 'card check' for the union bosses, they will move to do the same for regular elections. Then their DemoGOONS will be standing at the polling booths watching how you vote, and woe be unto you if you try to vote for someone other than a DemoCrook.

Obama's "Change" equals the gangsterization of America. Thugs and political hacks will always prefer coercion and intimidation to a secret ballot. As the union rolls swell, and the dues grow, there will be more cash to contribute to the Democrat party. No wonder these anti-democratic Democrats favor this hideous assault on freedom.

Obama and crew support amnesty for millions of illegal aliens who take jobs from the poor. They also are trying to get the number of H-1B visas drastically increased for cheap foreign workers who take jobs from the middle class. Obama supports union organizing and the Employee Free Choice Act which will do away with the secret ballot that workers have now as to whether or not they want to unionize which will subject workers who do not want a union to harassment and threats. By supporting Obama, unions are supporting unions, not the American worker. This is another way for Obama to implement his socialization. http://ewebsmith.com/self/StandUp.html
