Oh dear! Wrong again, Ollie. "Hex" isn't green. Nor is it a salt. And as for "spiking stories" - the European and "mainstream" press were carrying accounts of the embarassing talks between Israel and "Axis of Evil" member Syria for two full weeks before the Washington Times finally conceded they were taking place. Perhaps it was something to do with the fact that the WT was during thoses week critically highlighting comment on Obama's intention to allow US officials speak with Iran and its surrogates. As for human-rights: The US is no longer the standard bearer it once was. The citizens of most Western Democracies enjoy far better protection of their liberties, and freedom from arbitrary state interference, than those of the US. Incidentally, if Ollie transited airports via the ordinary departure areas rather than the first-class lounges he would witness the ritual humiliation of semitic-looking people. The language used to demonize the semitic Arabs in sections of the US media bears chilling resemblance to that used to demonize another semitic people in another place and time. Think of the early 1930s.

p.s. Ollie. Here's another good "spiking" story.... The WT, alone in the "mainstream" media seems to have "spiked" the story of the seven Palestinian students who lost their State Department Fulbright Scholarships because the Israelis (who have Gaza and much of the West Bank "locked down") refused the scholarship recipients permission to travel to the US. Instead of having an opportunity to learn about our political culture and forge friendships with Americans, these potential ambassadors of a more hopeful future have how learned an entirely different lesson. And you wonder why.....?
