Another example of the fecklessness of out elected representatives and senators....535 cretins and jackasses!!!...Instead of passing viable legislation to open more energy producing lands held by the feds, they screw around with meaningless tax inducing and regulatory harnessing of our energy companies....They don't care a wit about the environment...All they care about is the destruction of our capitalist system of economics and replace it with a Stalinist controlled central government agency.....Yeah, that will bring priced down all right!!!...
There is no possible national "solution" to AGW; if there is a solution, it must be global and all inclusive.
Any US attempt to reduce US carbon emissions would be a "tax" on the US economy, even if the federal and state governments didn't "skim" money from the process in the form of a carbon tax or allowance fee, for use in "buying votes".
If AGW is a serious problem, it is time for the serious solutions and the plan to make them happen.
