Great reporting, very personal, from the inside with our very best. I really enjoyed reading this piece. Thanks Sara A. Carter and TWT. At least someone remembered it was the anniversary of D-Day.
What a sad fate for such a hero and on such a historic day. The reporting on this is outstanding and truly gave me a sense of the guys. The sad thing was he was coming home and that is so hard when these men do so much for our country. Bless his family and the men over there.
This is Obama's Vietnam..
we will not win this one, like we won in Iraq.
My son, after serving 3 tours in Iraq. will get to fight in the hindukush.
As a sitting duck on bases that are poorly planed and poorly supplied. Just like Vietnam.
Afghanistan is the Burial ground for every invader since Alexander the Great.
I just hope the "Leftie..peace first crowd" Has the courage to take the "great one" to task like they did Bush on Iraq.
This is a stupid war in a stupid place.
Pouring in thousands of ground troops is not the answer. Co-opting the tribal leaders is. Bribe them with money to turn it the bad guys.
Goodness knows we are printing enough of the stuff.
May G*d bless & keep 1st Sgt. Munden & all of our brave men & women. We thank you & love you all! Give em hell & come home safely.
