I have often thought that demanding controls on "lobbyists" whether they be business, labor, environmental, health/disease issue groups, etc. is short hand for admitting that public officials are so prone to thievery and corruption that any kind of temptation must be removed....at the cost of our Constitution if necessary.
Are they going to reject the enviromentalist? These are the biggest lobbiest in the country.
