The only dirty air is the air that comes out of the halls of congress. These folks are going to bankrupt this nation with their stupid ideas. There is NO Evidence to support global warming!

Yikes

I want an honest debate. This is nothing more than a money and power grab by the DC crowd. We need energy exploration in the Western U.S. and Anwar and the outer-shelf. We need to fully develop carbon trapping technology and we proceed to develop more Nuclear power. Then if we need to retard carbon use, look more closely at a revenue neutral carbon tax instead of a bureaucratic Cap & Trade. I will not rely on Sen. Boxer or Pelosi/Reid for an intelligent debate on this topic. We need a million person energy march on Washington for Oct. 07. Who wants to help organize it?

Isn't is reckless to push a bill on unproved science that would radically alter the economy of this nation and perhaps do untold damage to those currently struggling with energy costs. The bill made no provisions for nuclear. The smart thing to do is to try to solve the national security based energy crisis in the short term, drill for oil; in the medium term, build nuclear reactors; and then in the long term, 100% renewables. Can our Congress get any more out of touch? http://brokengovernment.wordpress.com
