It is probably time for our busiest crosswalks to have their own place in the light cycle for pedestrians, where no cars move until the intersection is clear.
Having said that, no amount of prudent planning will prevent Jaywalking deaths.
If you don't use the crosswalks, you are putting yourself in grave danger!
Sounds like another product of lack of assimilation on the part of the "new immigrants". Learn to read English and OBEY the rules and you will lower your chance to get hit by a vehicle. Better yet, if you are illegal, LEAVE.
