The President seems to live in a paradise of his own imagination. For the record, IAEA has not turned up any evidence so far that Iran's nuclear programme is indeed for the making of nuclear weapons. The US and Western attitude on the subject is based on their own conjectures and imagination. That may not conform to actuality. Besides, the President should remember that he is not hugely popular in his own country and that military action against Iran shall not be supported by US public opinion, European governments and least of all by UK government where the Prime Minister has embarrassments arising from internal British politics. This time round, a British prime minister is unlikely to send even five soldiers to fight alongside Americans in Iran. Mr Bush should come down to earth and not go on pretending that USA still occupies the high moral ground. It does not. V. C. Bhutani vineycb1@vsnl.com
