What an interesting concept. These men now have rights under the U.S. Constitution. Where and how do you delineate the boundaries? What is next? Application for citizenship after Congress allows illegal immigrants to step to the front of the line? We take lawyers to war now, do the judicial districts extend globally? This is outside the scope of the Constitution and will eventually act to erode it and our national sovereignty along with it.
Exactly right. I say assign lawyers to each platoon, let the lawyers be point man. Then they can before they are shot, "hey, buddy, do you need a lawyer?".
