I too am a libertarian who supports Senator Obama. Mr. Domenech's problem is an inability to see beyond simplistic catch phrases. So he denigrates anyone who can by claiming the're spacey and munch flowers. The reality is that conservative justices aren't the answer to fewer abortions. Education is the answer. Outlawing abortion won't make the problem go away it will create more problems. But no conservative is saying that. That's why the country was moving toward legalization in any case decades ago. That reality hasn't changed. Only the usage of simplistic catch phrases has changed. With Senator McCain we can expect more of the same partisan rancor, staid ideologically inflexible reactions to problems and esentially more of George Bush which the country can't live with anymore, unless of course your among the 29% that think the last 7 1/2 years was just what the country needed and your dazzelingly happy with things the as they are.

Just wow. So the Washington Times is now giving space to serial plagiarists. Ben Domenech has about as much credibility as Mickey Mouse. At least Mickey was an original. Barack Obama will be our next president mainly because the GOP is entirely discredited as a legitimate political party. The incompetency of the current administration will doom the GOP to the back bench for years to come. All the GOP has left is hacks like Domenech who are forced to resort to silly names and personal attacks. The hate site Mr. Domenech is associated with, Redstate, is an excellent example of this. I have much respect for Senator McCain. He is an honorable man who has served this nation bravely and with much honor. It's a shame his party feels the need to avoid the issues in favor of slander and innuendo. It will surely cost him the election. I'm a registered Republican, but like many thousands like me, I've reached my limit with the incompetence and jingoism of the White House. I will be voting for Obama this November.
