The "Rev" Jesse Jackson is a black-mailer (no pun intended) from the old school. He is also the guru at playing the race card to get what he wants.
If XM and Sirius are serious about doing business together, they should realize that Jesse Jackson is not truly relavent to the black community and does not speak for all black people in the United States. The Lion has lost his teeth.
All of a sudden Jesse has an investment company and is so concerned about cartoon ads on the tv? These advertising people only see the way these celebrities portray themselves and somehow make this represent the community. Instead of going after the supposed "racist" companies like Sirius and XM, he should actually take on people like Snoop Dogg, Lil Kim or any other rapper that you can currently think of. Try taking them to court for being racist against their own and see how far it gets you.
Jackson, go home and leave the rest of us alone.
"The only thing missing is the watermelon"??? Really? Really??? Come on Jesse, you know that's not true. If Jesse Jackson was born with a slightly lighter pigment then this would not be an issue. Not once have I heard him say, "Thank you. Thank you for making my career." Had there been no civil rights movement, Jesse Jackson would be a retired baseball player or, more likely, a retired football player currently sharing a booth with Michaels and Madden broadcasting events with a patented catch phrase like, "you can take that one to the bank". But no. He didn't even finish Seminary school! Does anyone remember his attack on NBC about 10-15 years ago for being racist in their hiring practices? Really, NBC? Why not go after FOX? After all didn't THEY give us The PJ's? I want to know, where's Juicy now?
