It is too late to do anything about nuclear technology. The genie is out of the bottle, the tooth paste is out of the tube. Either way we are unable to turn back the hands of time. Ever since WWII when the U.S. dropped the first nuclear bomb people and nations around the world have been researching and developing nuclear power and of course bombs.
