Mr. McCain is turning into some kind of a bad joke. It's hard to even take him seriously anymore. He has flip-flopped on every major issue and appears to have absolutely no convictions that can't be bought. It's a shame to see the emasculation of "The Maverick" - now he's just another shill for the gop - and he's even doing a pretty poor job of that. Debate the issues McCain - this screaming at clouds doesn't help you one bit, in fact, it dents your credability a little more each day.

So, if anyone uses Obama's own words to point out just how inexperience he is, it's considered an attack and it's condemned as inappropriate? What a crock! What of they use his words AND his image at the same time? Would that be considered an all out war? Obama and his supporters better grow a very thick skin if he wishes to become the President as America are relative kittens when compared to the rest of the world. I want a President who will face the fire and risk getting burned for the sake of America and not one who cries about how's he's being "attacked" baby every time someone disagrees with him. Get a backbone, Obama, and stop using your proxies to fight your battles.

It is amazing from the comments how Democrats squeal when the truth about them is told...when the rock is lifted and their illegal, illicit activities are uncovered, or when their ineptitude is mentioned. We did not have $4.00 gasoline, food rationing or a housing crisis in this country until the Democrats took over in Congress. They simply want the nation to revert to a fascist/socialist/marxist state, where only a small politburo tells the populace what to do (yet lives like kings). Sounds like the tried & failed Soviet system.

Blaming $4 gasoline on Democrats, lol. Umm, you Republicans had the last eight years and you drove this country into the ground domestically and internationally. Bush is regarded as the worst president of modern, if not all, times. Aren't you glad you voted for him twice? The rocks have been lifted and all the disgusting behavior of the last eight years of Republican rule are clear for everyone to see. McCain is a joke of a candidate that even Republicans can't seem to get behind. Good luck with that. Enjoy the next eight years of a Democratic majority, we're going to turn these last 8 disastrous years around.

Stop using your proxies to fight your battles? And what would you call 527's that Republicans have been using for years that use disgusting tactics, mislead, and manipulate. I'd say those are proxies no? cowardly stuff used by Republicans for years. Talk about Republicans needing a backbone and confronting the actual issues head on vs using slime on the side.

Hillary Clinton ran against Sen. Obama...I'm really unclear why everyone thinks she should have hugged and kissed him throughout the campaign. He IS inexperienced. Every other candidate that was running against Sen. Obama commented about his inexperience..or comments like "he'll learn"...the only difference is, the media didn't magnify their words as much as they did for Sen. Clinton....just like you're doing now. What is it, that everyone expected from her?? For her to pull out pom poms and root for her opponent, while she ran AGAINST him during the campaign? People are demanding she campaign for him...even Chelsea. Tell me, where are the other Dem. candidates and their families? Are they stumping for Obama? Did they all relinquish their delegates? Are they being criticized for not doing so? No. This is why people yell 'sexism". Sen. Clinton was the only one that was constantly being asked to play the "submissive" role...or criticized if she didn't. She campaigned like everyone else and yet, she is always being held to a different standard. Sen. Obama is running for President of the United States...I think it's time people stopped coddling him, don't you? Considering McCain's lengthy stay in politics...to use inexperience or any similar debating point, isn't really out there for the GOP to think of on their own. To make this a hit against Sen. Clinton and blame her for it, is ridiculous. Sen. Obama IS inexperienced....maybe it's time to own that fact. Half the Democratic party didn't vote for Sen. Obama , because they chose someone with more experience. The worst part of that whole "bitter, clinging" comment, was the fact that Sen. Obama, media and pundits....assumed that anyone not voting for Sen. Obama, was somehow damaged. No one even entertained the fact that people chose someone else. When asked why the working class wasn't voting for him...Sen. Obama right away went to find fault in the voters. Maybe "elite" was the wrong word, but there is an element of arrogance in his response.

jrrrr

So what's the point of this article...that facts used by Clinton to criticize Obama's campaign are real facts, but when the GOP campaign points out the SAME facts, suddenly they're disqualified as facts. Or are you trying to say that facts used by Democrats to criticize other Democrats are off limits to the GOP. A "fact" is an equal opportunity kind of notion...available to everyone, even the GOP, (not that liberals can grasp the concept that equal opportunity means _NO_ preferential treatment for anyone.) You're reaching on this one, and looking quite liberally biased.

Ah, parroting the experience nonsense. Please, put forth the exact criteria that meets your experience argument. In addition, I want that criteria to be in line with all previous presidents of the united states as well. All of McCain's 'experience' has led him to change policy positions across the board this general election. Is that what experience means, to flip-flop on the issues? McCain's almost exact copying of Clinton's attacks, ummm, I'd say that's Clinton's fault. This is why she can never be VP. Perhaps if you, one day, you re-read your statement below and actually put it into context in regards to other nominations, you might realize that it's you who are holding Clinton to another standard. One that coddles her.

The circus comedy that constitutes the Obama campaign. This is a scenario that has repeated itself multiple times on other issues. On terrorism - Obama is asked a straight forward question on his anticipated policies to combat terrorism; and, he responds in an equally forward manner that he would handle the issue as a police action. The McCain camp immediately exploits Obama's naive response, correctly highlighting Obama's dangerous inexperience and lack of understanding of the gravity/complexity of the issue. Obama's handlers immediately haul him into the cloak room; advise him that his response was feeble and misguided; tell him what he should have said; and, send him back into the public forum, teleprompter in hand , to read his handlers prepared text on the latest version of his position. The Main Stream Media immediately chimes-in lauding Obama for what he meant to say on the issue all-along! Unequivocally, Obama is the equivalent of a circus clown; a stand-up comic; a circus-barker attempting to lure the mentally-challenged into the tent with promises of an epiphany; a Charley McCarthy mannequin that appears to lip-sync the commentary from his ventriloquist controllers. This man is an virtual imbecile who is totally without the capacity to speak intelligently on issues on which he has not been previously programmed by his puppet masters. P.T. Barnum was right on target when he observed: "There's a sucker born every minute." ; but, hopefully the American electorate will not be duped by such a charlatan. Greg Neubeck

Can McCain not use something that Hillary has said, and if he can't, when does the statue of limitations expire? Are not facts independent of those who announce them? This article is mindless and biased. As far as Obama's experience, look at the decisions he has made thus far -- they do not inspire trust. When will the invasion of Pakistan begin again?
