THE BEST OF THE WEEKEND IN SPORTS

College World Series

By the end of the weekend, two teams will be left to battle. LSU, Georgia and Stanford all have previous titles, but it would be the first for Fresno State or UNC.

U.S. Olympic trials

America's best in diving and gymnastics compete for a trip to Beijing. It helps to tune in now to learn who the athletes are before watching the Olympics in August.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

Juan Pablo Montoya won his first NASCAR race at Sonoma last year. Can he score a repeat win at the road course Sunday, or will the victor be Jeff Gordon, who has five wins in 15 starts there?

Interleague baseball

Some of these series aren't that intriguing (Pirates-Blue Jays? Eek), but the Cubs are facing the White Sox and the Cardinals are going against the Red Sox.
