8. Milwaukee Bucks — Joe Alexander (SF, Jr., 6-8, West Virginia)

Word is the Bucks love Alexander’s toughness and athleticism and would love to begin the Scott Skiles era with this versatile scorer.

9. Charlotte Bobcats — Brook Lopez (C, So., 7-0, Stanford)

The Bobcats supposedly want a center so they can move Emeka Okafor to power forward.

10. New Jersey Nets - Danilo Gallinari (SF, 6-9, Italy)

He’s being compared to Toni Kukoc and called a better prospect than Toronto’s Andrea Bargnani.

11. Indiana Pacers — D.J. Augustin (PG, So., 6-0, Texas)

With newly acquired point guard T.J. Ford’s injury-riddled history, Augustin — a quick, athletic point guard with strong leadership skills — could be a good insurance policy.

12. Sacramento Kings — Anthony Randolph (PF, Fr., 6-10, LSU)

Randolph can play with his back to the basket or knock down the midrange jumper.

13. Portland Trail Blazers — Mario Chalmers (PG, Jr., 6-2, 170, Kansas)

Portland may trade the pick. If they don’t, they could use a solid young point guard, with Steve Blake and Jarrett Jack not exactly convincing management they are the answers.

14. Golden State Warriors — Kosta Koufos (C, Fr., 7-1, 265, Ohio St.)

He has impressed in workouts and further proved his case over the summer while playing for the Greek national team. He’s more offensively geared, which makes him a complimentary piece to the defensive-oriented Andris Biedrins.

15. Phoenix Suns — Brandon Rush (SG, Sr., 6-7, Kansas)
