Let's see if I follow this logic: Mexico probably can't solve its violent drug gang problem in the north. So the US is responsible, and must show care and confidence in Mexico before it can solve it's problem? This is typical physcobable for weak governments and reporters alike. Drug gang power and its corruption is purely a Mexican responsibility. It alone is accountable for success or failure.
