Good for them! That will leave Obama out as when he was a Senator in IL, he was the ONLY one who voted for a law that would allow a woman to terminate a pregnancy anytime she wanted--even if the baby was almost full term. I don't care what he spouts about his stance on abortion, as it will change with whatever group he is talking to at the time. If it is a pro-life group, he'll say he is pro life. If it is a choice group, he'll say women have the right to choose. He is NOT the candidate of change he pretends to be. He is a typical polititian that will say whatever he has to to get elected.

I believe that ALL pro-abortion Senators should be required to participate in late term and partial birth abortions before they are allowed to vote on any of these measures. That shoud be a requirement. If they are human, I guarantee they would change there stance on the subject. (one requirement would be to have to stay with the baby until it died after it was aborted)

I love the fact that the black pastors are making a stand. This is wonderful! However, I hope this is more than a "racist" issue to them. There are more than just black children becoming victims to this awful crime. I hope their issue is more regarding the children than the issue of race.

Count me in as a cheerleader for your effort in making a public statement in DC regarding abortion! All unborn children are clapping their little fetal hands because their mothers are jumping for joy at your efforts on their behalf! We need to be bold on principle...and bold for life! Thank you! Keep it up!

For California residents, a similar effort is happening to Eliminate Abortion Funding from our state budget. See www.california4life.org for more information. Currently, $33 million of our tax dollars are spent on providing 95,000 "free" abortions each year, hurting women for a lifetime. Women deserve better than abortion! During this time of state budget deficit conditions, when all of our social services are experiencing drastic cuts, these $33 million should be better spent actually helping the needy citizens of our state, rather than destroying life and hurting women. As an example, these $33 million would pay for the annual salaries of 900 public school teachers! The abortion industry has recorded all-time-high profit margins, while also eagerly welcoming racist donations intended to exterminate black babies. The abortion industry does not need, nor deserve, our tax payer funding! Please join the Coalition to Eliminate Abortion Funding from the California state budget at www.california4life.org
