What bothers me is that Obama supports partial birth abortion which is undoubtedly one of societies' cruelest methods of legitimately killing an unborn baby ever devised, and Obama has not once, but four times voted against a bill that would have protected the life of baby that had survived an abortion. That leaves only starvation. I met a young Russian girl who worked in an abortion clinic when it was still the Soviet Union and she said when babies survived abortions, they would open the window and let the freezing Siberian wind blow on the baby so that it would die. On one occasion, however, having taken pity, she took one of the surviving aborted baby home to care for him, but the baby later dies anyhow. Is this what we would become with Obama? Another Soviet Union? How sad. Furthermore, it is beyond my understanding why any conservative and/or Republican would vote for Senator Obama, yet there is every indication that there are those having been taken in "because he is young, energetic, and refreshing." Again, how sad.

Radio Talk show host Tom Marr of WCBM says he is absolutely disgusted with the new Washington Times website and doesn't even bother to look at it. Times needs to correct the flaws in the new website.

There is a book, I believe the title is Immaculate Deception, which has quite a bit of information about the group who developed Planned Parenthood, (including Margaret Sanger). It also presents historical account of the illegal mass sterilizations of thousands of southern black US citizens in earlier decades under the guise of free health care, which was ingeniously engineered by using the black church leaders to rally church members participation. The book discloses information about ongoing forced mass sterilizations of the poor in developing nations and forced abortions by Planned Parenthood agents in those developing nations with the sanctions of those nations governing leaders. Incredible! Our media/news agencies are complicit by their avoidance in disclosure of the truth. I shared the book several years ago and made the person promise they would keep the book moving so that the truth could get out into the public square of thought. Great to see the cankerous plot exposed more openly.

Hummm lets see, rape a child and it's wrong to get the death peanlty, kill an unborn child and you are expressing freedom of choice.....but you media outlets how dare you not give liberals their equal time!!! This is the issue the socialist demons on the left wish to talk about instead on the moral and ethical ones facing society.

So when the sex police get abortion outlawed, next stop will be contraception being outlawed. Then unmarried sex will be outlawed and on and on and on. This isn't about abortion. It's about controlling people. How about leaving us alone. What about that good old conservative position that the gov't should stay out of my life. Especially when it doesn't effect anyone outside of myself.

That is your ignorance, this does effect someone outside your life...the unborn child. This is not about control, it is about the life of an innocent life, that no one has the right to terminate. To think of this issue as just yourself shows how selfish you are. More and more abortion is being used as a way to have the sex but not deal with the consequences. Oh no I am pregant oh well I can just abort it, and go on with MY life.

The most basic duty of any government -- the primal reason for government in the first place -- is this: To Protect the Weak and Defenseless from the Strong and Powerful. This idea is even embodied in our Declaration of Independence, to wit: "We hold these truths to be SELF-EVIDENT, that ALL men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men..." I don't know of any person more weak and defenseless than an unborn child. Yet, the Damocratic Party deliberately and proudly refuses to see that they are failing to uphold the most basic duty entrusted to them: to Protect the Weak and the Defenseless. This is worse than Hypocrisy -- it is Evil; pure and simple. God made man in His image. Abortion is nothing less than the work of Satan to come against the image of God. Woe to all who join him in this evil work.

I saw a bumper sticker that tells exactly how I feel: USE PRO-CHOICE BEFORE SEX---PRO-LIFE AFTER SEX. One thing that really confuses me is that a lot of these pro-choice people are the same ones that are so against the death penalty. I've had very heated discussion with a couple of acquaintances on this subject.

Abortion, like war, is the karmic reaction for killing animals. Pro-lifers look in horror as an entire class of humans are systematically stripped of their rights, executed, and even used as tools for medical research. But this is what we humans have been doing TO ANIMALS for millennia! Where does the "slippery slope" begin? The fate of the animals and the fate of man are interconnected. (Ecclesiastes 3:19) A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, worshipped as a shaktya-avesha-avatara or empowered representative of God by millions of Hindus worldwide, said in 1974: "We simply request, 'Don't kill. Don't maintain slaughterhouses.' That is very sinful. It brings a very awkward karmic reaction upon society. Stop these slaughterhouses. We don't say, 'Stop eating meat.' You can eat meat, but don't take it from the slaughterhouse, by killing. Simply wait (until the animal dies of natural causes) and you'll get the carcasses. "You are killing innocent cows and other animals--nature will take revenge. Just wait. As soon as the time is right, nature will gather all these rascals and slaughter them. Finished. They'll fight among themselves--Protestants and Catholics, Russia and America, this one and that one. It is going on. Why? This is nature's law. 'You have killed. Now you kill yourselves.' "They are sending animals to the slaughterhouse, and now they'll create their own slaughterhouse. You see? Just take Belfast. The Roman Catholics are killing the Protestants, and the Protestants are killing the Catholics. This is nature's law. It is not necessary that you be sent to the ordinary slaughterhouse. You'll make a slaughterhouse at home. You'll kill your own child--abortion. This is nature's law. "Who are these children being killed? They are these meat-eaters. They enjoyed themselves when so many animals were killed and now they're being killed by their own mothers. People do not know how nature is working. If you kill you must be killed. If you kill the cow, who is your mother, then in some future lifetime your mother will kill you. Yes. The mother becomes the child, and the child becomes the mother. "We don't want to stop trade, or the production of grains and vegetables and fruit. But we want to stop these killing houses. It is very, very sinful. That is why all over the world they have so many wars. Every ten or fifteen years there is a big war--a wholesale slaughterhouse for humankind. But these rascals--they do not see it, that by the law of karma, every action must have its reaction."
