Why is it so important to give to lawbreakers that which others have struggled to obtain during the LEGAL immigration process? How sad is it that neither candidate can tell us what he believes or what is true. John McCain, remember you have not been nominated as yet. I am quite sure that during the convention, due to your clear backtrack on a key promise that put you over the top as the presumptive nominee, your delegates would no longer bound to you, especially if they find that through fraud/lies you obtained the necessary votes. For a better solution to this problem, read: http://brokengovernment.wordpress.com/2008/01/24/the-current-illegal-immigration-population-%e2%80%93-what-to-do/

What is a Republican voter to do? No one could ever convince me that a leftist like Obama would be good for this country, but now the Republican candidate is espousing a totally repugnant position. Not only that, but he claims it is his TOP priority! My alternatives are to NOT vote or to write in Newt Gingrich.

Both McCain and Obama are dispicable people that will do anything to get elected. Both want to allow unlimited illegal entry into our country and grant citizenship to all. McCain is not the war hero everyone gives him credit for. He was a POW and was tortured. What is heroic about that? The real heros were the ones that continued the fight. None of the above should be everyone's vote write in this year. Neither candidate deserves a vote. A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism.

Exactly, what is a Republican voter to do? Senator McCain certainly doesn't make it easy for us. I am a conservative first and then a Republican. At one time, we Republicans had it all; The White House, Congress and the Senate, AND WE BLEW IT!!!! That was the time that we could have pushed for drilling in ANSR - and other conservative issues, but they did nothing. What's that old saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? Shame on me. I believe that it is the media that selected Obama just as I believe they picked McCain. Why? Because if Obama loses, the Democrats and Independents can live with Senator McCain, because he is one more of them (A RINO)more than he is a Republican. The thought of Obama becoming president is terrifying. The results may be irreversable, but how can we trust McCain? Our only hope is that Senator McCain will pick an honest-to-God CONSERVATIVE as his VP. Once again, it appears that I may have to vote for the lesser of two evils and that is what got us into this mess in the first place.

Readers should go to the immigration reform website VDARE dot com for more info on Juan McCain's Hispanic advisor Juan Hernandez. It will be an eye opener.

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
