ASSOCIATIONS, GOVERNMENT & NONPROFITS

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation elected Pulitzer Prize recipient George Will to serve on the foundation´s board of directors. The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation is a private, Milwaukee-based, grant making institution established in 1985, supporting programs and studies to improve the life of the community through increasing cultural and educational opportunities, economic development and humane social services.

Kevin Madden was named senior vice president at the Glover Park Group's public affairs division. Mr. Madden most recently served as National Press Secretary and Senior Communications Strategist for Mitt Romney´s presidential campaign. The Glover Park Group offers a range of communication services, including advocacy and image advertising and public affairs services.

EDUCATION

Felicia Patterson was named vice president of Learner Support Services at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md. Ms. Patterson was executive vice president of student and enrollment services at the Community College of Denver.

Jeffrey Cohen was named chief executive officer of Educate Inc., a provider of in-center and live, online tutoring at home to students of all ages. Mr. Cohen served as president of Catapult Learning LLC, a former Educate Inc. subsidiary that provided supplemental reading and math instruction, special education and early childhood development programs to the nation's public and private schools.

LEGAL

Adam Donovan joined Fish & Richardson in the firm's D.C. office as its patent practice group marketing manager. Prior to joining Fish, he was the marketing and business development manager for the global intellectual property practice at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Beth Parker joined Arnold & Porter´s San Francisco office as a partner in the firm's intellectual property group. Ms. Parker comes to Arnold & Porter from Bingham McCutchen's San Francisco office, where she was also a partner.

RETAIL & HOSPITALITY

Tamara Williams was named general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott-Dupont Circle in the District. Ms. Williams worked as director of marketing at the Holiday Inn in Georgetown.

Ann Peterson was named general manager for the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel in the District. Ms. Peterson brings more than 30 years of hospitality industry experience to the Omni Shoreham Hotel. She most recently served as regional vice president of operations for InterContinental Hotel Group overseeing numerous Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in the Northeast, Midwest and Canada.
