Toledo 8, Columbus 5: Garrett Mock (2-2, 3.98) allowed three runs in six innings but lost for the host Clippers against rehabbing Tigers left-hander Dontrelle Willis, who gave up one run in six innings.

Harrisburg 5, Altoona 4: Cory VanAllen (3-0, 1.93) improved to 6-0 overall this season as he allowed four runs (three earned) in six innings for the host Senators. Game 2 of the doubleheader was rained out, and no makeup date was announced.

Potomac 10, Salem 1: Joe Norrito (1-0, 2.70) pitched five scoreless innings and Edgardo Baez (.250) went 3-for-5 with three doubles and six RBI in the Nationals’ road win.

Kannapolis 6, Hagerstown 4: Michael Burgess (.226) hit his 11th home run, but the Suns lost at home.
