Columbus 6, Buffalo 3: Collin Balester (5-3, 4.65) allowed three runs in five innings and picked up the win for the host Clippers. He struck out four and walked none. Chris Booker (3.94) pitched a scoreless ninth for his fifth save. Kory Casto (.346) went 2-for-5 and Javi Herrera (.283) 2-for-3.

Connecticut 11, Harrisburg 4: Tristan Crawford (1-2, 5.79) allowed five runs in 32/3 innings in a loss for the visiting Senators. Garrett Guzman (.250) and Andrew Lefave (.257) each had two hits.

Salem 10, Potomac 2: Edgardo Baez (.250), Seth Bynum (.232), Dee Brown (.213) and Brian Peacock (.260) each had two hits in the Nationals’ home loss.

Kannapolis 5, Hagerstown 2: Aaron Seuss (.278) went 2-for-4 with a double in the Suns’ home loss.
