Since when is peaceful protest or demonstration not encouraged by Democrats? If this is the attitude we can expect from Barack Obama regarding exercise of 1st Amendment Rights, then let's nip this in the bud now and nominate the candidate who actually represents the values of the Democratic Party...Hillary Clinton. And by the way, it is the highest form of democracy to COUNT ALL OF THE VOTES !!!

The riot er, convention should be entertaining. The ensuing violence will of course be blamed on Bush by the Democrat 'Moonbats'.

It is well time that the very loyal Hillary supporters, who I respect, realise they are and will seriously damaging Hillary even more and if this campaign should go on to a Legal Challenge from Hillary it could end her political career Full Stop! Hillary is hanging on to a thin thread wanting to change rules that even one of her chief campaign team members Harold Ickes was on the rules committee that made the decision, Hillary said nothing at the time as she felt as she claimed the Race would be all over by February 5th! The first point about DEMOCRACY is having Rules, this is even before you think of counting votes, once rules are agreed Everyone has to adhere to them, not Cry to change them as they now don't fit your agenda. Why can't Hillary do what is right and be gracious and stand aside before she ends up completely finished.

Looks like Hillary is intent on going out with a bang! "But the lawyers’ analysis said that as punishment for the primaries’ being held early, party rules allowed the states nothing more than that their delegations be cut in half, or that the full delegations be seated with each delegate getting only half a vote." With Obama’s lead, this would not impact the outcome significantly. Anything more for Hillary would stink of impropriety! Hillary, the Queen of Spin and a Legend in Her Own Mind! http://klintons.com

I respectfully disagree with realsister. The key objective should be to maximize the chance that the Democrats win the White House. Given that Obama's nomination is practically assured, I don't see how protests about seating Michigan and Florida will help achieve the objective. My other comment is that whatever deficiencies Obama may have...it's absurd to suggest that Clinton exemplifies the aspirational values of the Democratic Party. Her ethics, integrity, and selflessness are hardly beyond reproach.

As a republican, I would like to urge Hillary not to give up the fight.. take it not only to the convention in August, but all the way up to inauguration day in January. We will have great fun recycling our old Anti-Kerry ads with just a little modification: "She voted against FL and MI before she voted for them!"

They are writing to the Rules Committee of the DNC: "More than ever, you ... are showing your disrespect and hatred for women by your actions." Well, well. It seems these people aren't as interested in counting the votes as they are pushing for Hillary Clinton. My gosh, they don't even try to hide their motives anymore! These people scare me. Seriously.

Since Clinton has won the popular vote, shouldn't she get the nomination? That's what Obama said early on in the campaign - super delegates should support the popular vote. Why are many of them going for Obama, then??
