I agree with Congressman Tancredo, illegals will destroy this nation. I like what Oklahoma has done, and applaud Arizona. Now if we can only get something similar passed in Texas, but Govenor Perry seems to be traveling the same road as Bush, McCain, Obama, and Hillary. When will our representatives start to follow the constitution and protect our soveriegnity.

I wish you all the best Mr.Tancredo, Please never stop this fight. People here in Boston are stuck with no one to turn to for help. Our health care system is over run.

I am privledged to live in Congressman Tancredo's district. I have had the man in my home for coffee and a chat with neighbors. He is a honorable and brilliant public servant. He is absolutely correct about the threat illegal immigration poses to our country. I lived in California for over 20 years and can attest to the insanity that prevails there regarding illegal immigration. God knows the current candidates don't see the threat and are part of the problem not the solution.

80 percent of the American people must thank Rep.Tom Tancredo for help beginning the fight against illegal immigration. His courage started the incessent war against the travesty of states rights to battle this plague. South Carolina is joining Arizona, Georgia, Oklahoma, Missouri and Rhode Island, in the incessant battle to stop illegal immigration overrunning the nation. With gas prices what they are, and the chance of them rising even higher. If 20 to 38 million illegal aliens start returning home under the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088), we will see the highways less congested as in Arizona, less people cramming into emergency hospitals, drop in crime rates and schools with smaller classes. Not publicized by the biased press, but a significant overhaul of this distressed border states, is showing a remarkable comeback from economic uncertainty. Give it time and South Carolina should see an equal financial economic stability's, when predator employers will have no alternative, but hire hire legal residents of your state. If we can enact the federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088) before Obama, Hillary or McCain pushes for another AMNESTY, we might see a unbelievable resurrection of Americas financial doldrums. If the SAVE ACT is imposed, and the original two-tier fence is built to plan and not gutted by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her thrall. Then Congress can then draft a orderly guest worker law, that allows sufficient labor to work in America..without any right to AMNESTY or a path to easy citizenship. Guest workers cannot have that right, unless they apply for a work visa like everybody else who waits patiently in line. Read about how Arizona has become a remarkable example of a quick pick-up to its economy. Under pressure from THE PEOPLE of Arizona and fighting against the adverse effect of illegal immigration. A governor with Mayors who sided against the population, have shown the way for other states.(http://mensnewsdaily.com/2008/05/15/striking-changes-in-arizona-as-illegal-immigrants-flee-the-state/#comment-62672 ) More intelligence for you to absorb. (http://www.newswithviews.com/Stuter/stuter125.htm) See unsuppressed details at NUMBERSUSA. By Demanding that the potentates of the Democratic party co-author the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088) we can 'SAVE' American jobs and our future.

We will also be writing in Tom Tancredo's name on the November ballot! Congressman Tancredo's conservative voting record proves that he is a man of his word - something most politicians don't know the meaning of. McCain/Obama/Clinton will do absolutely nothing, but keep the borders open and grant amnesty/citizenship to thirty million who have ignored our laws to be in this country! The demise of this country, our values, and our education and healthcare systems can be attributed to those who continue to hire cheap, illegal labor, along with elected officials who continually choose to ignore the problem. Thank you, Tom, for all you've done and continue to do for the sovereignty of the U.S.A. signed: five LEGAL citizens from Arizona who will NOT vote for McCain for President!

It is with deep regret that I read the news that Mr. Tancredo is not pursueing his seat in the federal legislature; but respect his decision as his call. Mr. Ross Perot understood the "great sucking sound" (in his criticism of NAFTA) and the invasion and take over of this supposedly sovereign nation by the country of Old Mexico and parts south. After all the money he spent, upon failure to obtain the popular support of the citizens, he has dropped out of public life. I sincerely hope Mr. Tom Tancredo will not drop out and disappear from public service as well; he has my support and admiration - not many politicians do. http://www.theinvisiblewar.info/

OH TOM !! You are so RIGHT.. I can't understand the fight..FOR..ILLEGALS. Is it "the VOTE" ?? I think we need TERM LIMITS for ALL of DC. At least there would be a "turnover" then. It would be so easy for Terrorists to fly into Mexico, Drive 18 wheelers full of Bombs, across the Border. GOD HELP US ALL

Don't let the gate hit you on the way out! What causes people to get like this? Is it something in the water in Texas? The bullet proof vest and Kathy Ray's terrorists give us a window on the lunatic fringe. Isn't this the guy who wanted to bomb Mecca? Undocumented immigrants are to blame for everything. I have a hangnail! It's because of the immigrants. Take a pill and go back to sleep. Take a whole bottle if you want!

Tom Tancredo will be remembered in history as a bigot who stood for the worst kind of politics out there. Fear of Mexicans is no different from the fear of the Irish, Italians, or Germans of the past. The reason the US succeeds while other countries languish is because we accept change and know it's necessary to remain economically and politically relevant in the world.
