Roba

McCain's greatest strength: national security; his genius strategy? Never mention it, or oil drilling, but just spar with BHO about Dem-inspired bs. Obama's plan to defend vs islamic terrorism and build on GWB 7+ yr record of no major attacks? Zilch nada zero.

Not only has Obama said he will not protect America (or me), he said he will not permit me to defend myself (by taking away my means of protection). Obama is NOT good for America. Obama is NOT good for America's citizens. Army Airborne Ranger & American Nationalist

Obama, untainted by the foreigner-hating rhetoric of the outgoing Republican administration, is in a much better position to re-invigorate the covenant of mutual support which used to exist between the US and the other advanced democracies, and which underpinned our mutual interests and security. McCain was correct about the surge. (something which Obama has implicitly conceded)However, McCain was dead wrong about the war which necessitated the surge and which has already cost the lives of thousands of our troops and zillions of US tax-dollars. This war has diverted us from our real security objectives and driven a wedge between the US and our closest allies. Hopefully, Obama will mend the damage on both fronts.

And Obama and the far left have driven a wedge between the people of this country. HE WILL NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT!!!

Dear "bandaid", If Obama is elected Predident he WILL be your President - and the President of all of us, right, left, and centre. If elected, he will be entitled, not to have us agree with all his policies, but to our loyalty and respect as the holder of the office that more than any other represents us as a united people - white, black, Asian, Catholic, Jewish, Protestant, Moslem, and unbeliever. We the people of the United States. Together.

I was surprised the other night when I heard Wolfe on CNN ask the question, IF obama is elected president, would he offer McCain a position in his cabinet, like sec. of defense. I would pose another question, IF McCain is elected president, would he offer Obama a position in his cabinet and what would he be qualified to do. think about it.

dear petemurry: Is the same respect that was given the present president, I don't think so.

When we choose a leader whether it is for national security or domestic policies, the most important aspect is who we trust will stand by us and by the country. Imagine that to accomplish a mission you must get to the top of a cliff climbing a rope and will be dead if you fall or do not reach the top. Imagine that the rope is being held by your comrade in that mission. Imagine that your comrade risks his life to hold the rope but that he has a choice to leave. Who would you rather have holding that rope? Obama or McCain?

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
