Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'. Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage. Specialist - do you wake up every morning and plan on being stupider than you were the day before? Please G-d, let not Specialist pass on his DNA.

Maybe G.W. Bus should just order the entire U.S. Military out of the Middle East and back on American soil. This solves the problem of Iraq. At the same time order all troops out of Afhganistan and let the Talian have it. Then the whole world will shut up.

Gene44: Getting American gunmen and bombers back to the US where they belong would be a good start. Will it shut us up? Maybe, when you've also apologised for the innocent men, women and children you've slaughtered and paid reasonable reparations for the destruction you've rained down. Putting a few of the guilty men of the Washington regime in prison for their crimes in waging aggressive war would also help.

Now President Bush, who was so arrogant when he ignored the UN and invaded Iraq, needs UN approval for something. Do you think he will get it?

The Iraqi's should hold all inbound US military cargo/vehicles coming in, in their "customs" and force DOD to buy everything from them for 4x the price. That worked for Saudi Arabia for quite a few years...you'd be amazed at what America had to pay to keep operating there. We were being robbed then as we are now. If the truth ever came out the American people would be hunting down alot of politicians....and certainly not allowing the outgoing President to collect any sort of presidential "retirement" benefits. The UN if they value their countries monetary systems need to slap the US down and say enough is enough....it would do the US economy a huge favor. Atleast the US got Iraq to approve of a Constitution. Guam is a US Territory and still hasn't passed a Constitution...hasn't gotten anywhere's near the support that Iraq has gotten. :(
