If Al Franken becomes a Senator, any notion of statesmanship has gone out the window. Karl Rove needs to lend his craft to some of the Senate races.

Karl Rove needs to lend his craft to some of the Senate races. ------------------ Funny, most world-leaders said the same thing about Ronald Reagan. Oh... he ran from Hezbollah, secretly sold arms to our enemy Iran, trained Bin Laden, gave Saddam Bio/Chem weapons to use against his own people... hmmm... maybe you are right about Franken.

What's the punch line? Franken for Senator? I don't get it, oh he's a joke, now it makes sense. Democrats would vote for a monkey if it was a liberal. Come to think of it...they are! Frankenstein himself.

Your point? Much as I appreciate your paper-thin knowledge of history...I knew Ronald Reagan. He was a friend of mine, and I tell you that Al Franken is no Ronald Reagan. I'll concede that Reagan never dealt properly with Hezbollah, bin Laden, Saddam, et al. George W. Bush did - and enjoyed great support from the liberal left?

Maybe Stevens and Jefferson will have a "gift" exchange come Christmas!

November 5, 2008 at 6:34 a.m. -------------- "paper-thin knowsledge of history"? So you think Reagan DIDN'T run from Hezbollah, DIDN'T secretly SELL arms to our enemy Iran, DIDN'T authorize his CIA to train Bin Laden (AND give him Stinger missiles to boot!) DIDN'T give Saddam the Bio/Chem weapons he used against his own people?

That a pretty glaring toss of the preverbal towel by Adam Putnam. Giving up so soon? The liberal illuminati don't have control of things just yet. But again i will bring up the issues of balance. We need red and blue balance on capital hill. but it's doesn't look like we will have that. That just seem like the right thing for America.
