A new face? That's what the Republicans are looking for? Oh, I get it. They're looking for their own Barack Obama. Forget ideas. We need a new face. Losers.

Condi Rice might be willing to stay around and help. Heck, if McCain had picked her as his VP he might have won with the voters who never saw Palin as someone who should be a heart beat away from the Oval Office. Whatever happens with the GOP, we can all hope that True Conservatives will find a welcome there.

The arrogant, spineless, do nothing Republican politicians have themselves to blame for being booted out of power. I wish I could have helped voted the rest of them out.

J. C. Watts should be brought back into the picture. Would be a great personality and speech maker for the Rep Party.

The GOP will never be a viable opposition (let alone a governing coalition) until they get back to their true conservative principles as espoused by Taft, Goldwater and Reagan: Constitutionally limited federal government, drastically lower taxation, more personal freedom and self determination, a strong but humble national defense, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. Until this happens, there will be no real differences between the formerly "grand" old party and their opposition. And the electorate will always choose the real liberal over a fake one any day. Oh, if we could just find a principled, charismatic person (Bobby Jindal? J.C. Watts? Sarah Palin?) who will loudly proclaim true conservative values and not apologize for them in front of a hostile and antagonistic media!

The GOP needs to stop losing for sure. The one thing they can do is say they were truthful, and not lying to the people as the elitists illuminati were and are.

Question of the day

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
