Obama's choice of chief of staff proves he is not in the business of accepting advise. He has a socialist agenda and the man to carry it out, so don't get in his way. Notice that you haven't heard anything from good ole Joe?
This, from the article Advice for Obama above, "forward-thinking solutions wrapped in presidential respect. " begins with stopping the reduction of a rightful title, PRESIDENT Bush, to anything less, including, just 'Bush', 'Mr Bush' or 'GW'. Lest we continue by calling the president elect mr obama, or BO. THanks, and lets teach this to our children, please.
The media slime has shown no respect for President Bush since he campaigned in 1999.
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them to show any respect.
In response, I'll refer to the president-elect simply as Barry.
He will always be B.O. to me.
And don't forget the War In Iraq. President Bush directed a war that deposed a dictator, set up a democracy, and is in a position (with US temporary help) to control Islamic terrorists No where else on earth is such a government in existence.
President Bush deserves praise, not condemnation.
Has the Washington Times no shame? (Or sense of irony)
Having run a campaign of hatred, innuendo, and spite against the incoming Presisent, and having provided a platform for Steyn, Gaffney, North, and others of the screeching classes on the extremist fringe, the WT now calls for bi-partisanship from the new administration.
The bathwater in which the baby was drowning, and which the WT is calling on the incoming administration to retain, is the tired dross which was rejected by the US electorate. Wake up, WT. The Republican aganda was rejected by the people.
Thank you for reminding us of the good thing that President Bush leaves us with. No one can argue that the world isn't a better place without saddam hussein. We need to give credit where credit is due. I'm certain that four years from now we won't be living in a perfect world
