We should have elected Denzell Washington as President instead of Barack Obama. The people wanted an actor as president and a black guy, well Denzell is better looking and he can play presidential better than Obama can. And, what's more, he has more experience in leadership roles.

You know, I would believe Lindsey Graham except for one instance that occurred during the campaign. Right after reading about Obama talking with Emanuel, three reporters from conservative newspapers were thrown off Obama's plane. The fact that they were asked to leave so late in the campaign throws doubt on Obama's statement. When it occurred after talking with "Rahmbo" it became a matter of suspicion. The silence of the other media first amendment watchdogs became even more suspicious. Lindsey Graham is a naive bipartisan optimist just like Trent Lott when he gave up the leadership of the Senate. The Democrats have the power, their Pelosi "priorities" and the media. They will offer to cross the isle when as Pelosi said, THEY can find the common ground.

Obama has some pretty serious things to deal with and he's not even the actual president yet. The liberal illuminati have lead us to believe that he can fix everything, that he is the savior. But really, what can he do? Nothing right now. Hopefully in the next year he can get things going in the right direction but this one man, no matter how great he is doesn't have the power to come in and fix everything. We wish!

How disrespectful can you get. Mr Bush--well, then I guess its mr obama isnt it. What happened to your honor using the correct title? PRESIDENT BUSH, stupid. Pass that along to your children please.

Washington grand wizards never solve the root cause of the problem only throw more good money in with the bad as the temporary fix. The market can do a better job of purging the impurities than the government. The government could not operate a hot dog stand for profit regardless of party even if the customers paid in advance.

Government does not create jobs..Microsoft, P&G, Wal-Mart etc.creates jobs. Government is not the cure-all. If you believe they are then we are surely doomed.

Rahm is a great pick. Pendamon and friends can follow pea-brain Palin back to Alaska and do some good keeping an eye on those communistic Russians to prevent them from coming across the line and influencing our children with socialist ideas. Give it a rest. Bush has destroyed this country with protection of the wealth of his oil buddies, lack of critical restrictions and parameters in the banking, insurance, national health, and business sectors. and his silly backward thinking and fear of the "black man, the gay man, the communist, and (giggle) weapons of mass destruction". The only weapon of mass destruction seen has been his brain. Early next year we will say good bye y'all to the dumbest and most damaging president in history. America has spoke and we need to give Obama a chance. He has quite a mess on his hands thanks to 8 years of bad management and lack of priority to the important things that make this country great.

. Gods heartfelt toast to Obama: Barack Obama bragging as he claimed victory now promised God, “Before I die I mean to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I will climb Mount Sinai and read the Ten Commandments aloud at the top.” God replied, “I have a better idea. You could stay home in Chicago and keep them.” .

Part of the massive market drop was due to the investors shifting money to places that Obama can't tax it from them. The market has always judged liberal Democrats and their tax and spend policies as being bad for business. Obama will raise taxes on everyone, not just those he considers rich and by doing so he will force the businesses to fire people. As usual the lefts policies will make the economy worse, and they will blame their political opponets.

President Bush is a class act, no matter what you feel about politics. As a Texan, I don't agree with him most times, but he is a gentleman and this proves it. We raise 'em right, down here.

When Clinton was elected the stock market went up the next day, the media told us it was because of the election. Now, the stock market goes down and it has nothing to do with the election. If BHO is sincere, he should look at tapes of the last four years of Reid and Pelosi's news conferences and tell them to step aside and shut up. All they did was bitc_ and whine about Bush and those Wascally Wepublicans. They never offered any solutions. They had the House and Senate for the last two years and never sent a bi partisan bill to the White House or a balanced budget.

We took the bait...... ACORN's voter fraud is only a front to throw Americans off what they are really about. The Wall Street crisis was planned and it begin the night with Obama's meeting at Bill Ayres home to launch Obama's political career. FACT: This Strategy was first elucidated in the 1966 issue of 'The Nation' magazine by a pair of radical Socialist Columbia University Professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. David Horowitz has summarized it as: "The strategy of forcing political change through an orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of Capitalism by overloading the Government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse"......unquote Bingo ! They begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. Obama then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving " Ninja " loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn’t afford these loans. The scheme successfully caused the housing bubble two years ago and it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system. As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem. So Fannie & Freddie Mac was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages. Both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory Agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'. Democrats easily blamed Bush for everything saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the November election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage and take The White House. .

Non-story, the market was down to 8175 before the election Oct. 27th. We'll see some serious declines yet. Unemployment numbers are out and to no surprise another 250,000 jobs were lost in October. Rate stands at 6.5%. I'll be worried if the djia slips below 6500, until that time we just need to batten down the hatches and start paying off debt. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=^DJI

Obama was not "greeted by a stock market drop", he caused it. We know what is going to happen and are getting out of the market. I am not telling you where my money is going, but it is not going to be "spread around". Plan B: Regain the House in 2010, start impeachment in 2011. You just know that a Chicago thug will not be able to keep his fingers out of the cookie jar.

stevendeery: We pay past sins....banks are responsible with over-zealous marketing to increase credit levels based on housing bubble. for God's sake guys!..Even a novice could see it coming! Then Bush came with a socialist solution for the banks....while they are preparing their golden parachutes. Whoever thinks this masquerade is capitalism and free market he is out of his mind.
