It’s amazing to me that the major press and media concentrate only on Mexicans/Latinos. They only look at the Southern border but we got 3000 miles of Northern border as well as port's of entry. I am cynical of the Major press to the point they appear in so many ways (Guantanamo, wire taps, etc) in bed with illegal immigrant Muslim Terrorist's as much as they were with Obama. Fortunately, the American citizens in Arizona can carry Concealed Weapons legally for their personal protection. When the next "9/11 Emergency" comes, you had better have a plan and "tools" to provide for your protection. The government agents (police) will be busy watching government buildings and will not respond to your 9-1-1 emergency telephone calls. You will be on your own. The criminals know this, too. Our government should be protecting America's borders and barriers are key to this defense. Fences, vehicle traps and other obsticles are basic to this plan. MS-13 is murdering people in the drug war that is going on here. Daily, the drunken illegals are hit-and-running cars & people; they have no driver's license, no insurance, are here illegally, have no care about laws being broken--just your hard working cheap labor. Vehicles are stolen by the thousands and driven to Mexico. In Mexico, those vehicle's interiors are stripped and then filled with drugs and the American-licensed vehicles are then driven back to the USA and unloaded by your hard working illegal aliens. Mrs. Achim, I wouldn't hold my breath. God-Emperor Obama knows that he owes his wins in many border states to the Hispanic community. While there are many law-abiding folks of Hispanic descent here in the states, a huge number support the easing of immigration laws and actively aid illegals in their communities. I would be very surprised if the new administration does not reinstall some of the old road-blocks to immigration enforcement or conjure up new ones. After all, they represent a thriving voting block the Republicans have angered. Illegals are votes for the making!

Not only have I hired illegal aliens, I would encourage all Americans to hire illegal aliens. The Guatemalan, Mexican, Belarusian, Brazilian, Czech, and Liberian illegal aliens I have known and worked with have all been honest, entrepreneurial, and hard working, timely people. As long as there is a market for cocaine in the USA. As long as it is illegal to buy and use cocaine (ie create a black market for the drug where it is lucrative to bring it into our country)then cocaine will be brought here with violence and crime. acoll1, My relatives entered America through the Ellis Island experience and arrived "legally" in the 19th century. They were health-checked and "sponsored", otherwise they could not "enter" America and would be sent back to Europe on the next ship. My employees are all legal to work in this country. They also have passed state and federal background checks and are licensed to carry firearms (and they do). By your logic, unless human trafficking is made legal, there will continue to be kidnappings and horrendous vehicle collisions with the packed-in human cargo getting killed by the dozens. The business of people trafficking is caused by our immigration policies, as a way to subvert them. Crack Cocaine was something of the 1990's, the use of crack has been declining ever since and is now used in deminimus numbers nationwide. Cocaine (the powdered form)has seen a rise in popularity and is now heavily used in our nations colleges, and is the drug of choice for those in the 20-30 age bracket irregardless of race or socioeconomic background. The cause of human trafficking is an abundance in jobs that American born citizens are not willing to do. In the Northeast an illigal immigrant will make the same wage as anyone else Examples: $12 hr for a dishwasher, $15 hr painter, $15-18 for an experienced carpenter. THe difference is they show up for work, on time, whenever you want. You don't have to file them in your payroll taxes, and they don't have to get health care. Oh, and they work really hard as well Finally my point about your relatives was that the west took this land a long time ago by spreading disease, thru violence and deceit. The hiring of illegal aliens in Arizona is against the law. Those who do hire illegal aliens are being prosecuted. Those who provide jobs for illegal aliens motivate those "masses" of humanity to pay to be smuggled into this country, subverting our immigration laws and placing those illegal aliens into the dangerous "pipe-line" for the journey to America's interior. In many cities, illegal aliens are a "protected" class of people and are not subject to the same penalties of law that Americans are. There are no traffic citations for driving with no license or no vehicle insurance or no vehicle registration. In this country, illegal aliens kill more Americans EACH YEAR, than our Islamic enemies have killed our soldiers, sailers, airmen and marines on the battlefield, since the day we went to war in Iraq. Illegal aliens are a danger to our national security and the safety of We The People. Those people who knowingly hire illegal aliens are condoning identification theft.
