WOW, breaking news!! Are these people really getting paid for this trash?

I'll be the first to say that the Post was heavily biased toward Obama during this election cycle. And the statements from the paper's ombudsman are certainly newsworthy. But I think the headline and opening paragraph of this story are a bit misleading. Deborah Howell does not speak for the newspaper. She was hired to provide an independent, objective voice within the newsroom and act as a liaison for readers. It is quite common for the opinion of an ombudsman to differ strongly from that of the reporters and editors of a publication. To say "Post Concedes Bias for Obama" implies that top members of the Post's editorial team are acknowledging the bias. It's entirely possible that the Post's editors vehemently disagree with Ms. Howell's assertions. (We have no way of knowing, however, since the reporter never bothered to get a comment from a Post editor.) I have no problem with the Times writing about this issue, as it is an important one. But this particular story should have been presented more precisely and fairly.

And the mainstream media response is "SO WHAT!" Don't worry, Schumer and the Fairness Doctrine will take out all Obama opposition. Either you listen to what his administration has to say or you don't listen. Just ask the reporters that were thrown off his plane. The new White House placard "The dissent stops here".

Mr. Incredible, Did you read the statistics Howell gave? If so, you don't NEED comments from editors.

Just wait until the Democrats vote in the Fairness Doctrine to stop conservative radio talk shows. Then every aspect of the press will be liberal with no objections allowed. Welcome to Germany 1936 and the new Hitler regime.

It is interesting that one of the first things controlled by a socialist government is the press. Maybe our media will pay a big price for their blind support of the incoming administration.

Welcome to the Obamination, "Yes, we deceived you with our talk of 'balance' but the ends have justified the means." Prepare to be assimilated by the Bog! Either we are equal or we are not. Good people should be armed where they will, with wits and guns and the truth.

Its kind of scary that the Obama Regime still has websurfers. Are they now volunteers or Government employees?

Which candidate was more likely to support bailouts for outmoded, unprofitable print media?

Maybe the bias is like what blacks termed a cultural racism of whites. That is, whites did racist behavior and were not even aware of it. The MSM can't tell its own bias...bullsh-t! All you had to do was read newspapers and watch TV and be awake. The bias was not for Obama, it was and always has been for decades against Conservative Republicans. It is just now that thanks to talk radio where different points of view exist it has been forced to show its hand and has had to be less subtle and more blatant. Theses people know exactly what they are doing. They control the American people, not the politician liberal lapdogs. Campbell Brown was salivating after Palin's speech at the convention. She made an obvious wow that she and others like her were experts and would did up the dirt, and if they didn't find any, they knew how to manufacture it. Then the herd took off to Alaska, not to bring a picture to the public of who this bright new national politician was, but to destroy her. digusting

Gee, how could that happen? Why didn't they take their cue from this newspaper and support Mccain Palin 100%? Yes the fairness doctrine will return and you wingnuts will be exposed to the truth, not that it matters to you.

It is not just the media bias we should all be tired of, but the garbage that comes into our homes everyday wrapped in the title of NEWS. Having been a news/newspaper junkie for the last 20 years it has been difficult but I have stopped buying and reading them every day. Have the courage to let the media know what you think of their decisions about what we should or shouldn't know about what is going on in our communities , the country and the rest of the world. How many more pictures of dead bodies, blood and gore are they going to print or broadcast before we say we have had enough.Go to You Tube and play Don Henley's song 'Dirty Laundry' and after listening to it, make a decision to change how the media deceives us each day through printing only articles, stories and opinions that push their agenda, not ours. Cancel your subscription to newspapers that do not reflect your values if only for a few weeks.

So, we are not exposed to the truth now, with ABC,NBC,CBS, CNN,MSNBC, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, and most other "newspapers" as well as The Associated Press and Reuters "news" reporting organizations? Interesting admission of bias. Liberals are so tolerant of different viewpoints, very transparent. and disgusting

Journalism was replaced by political advocacy a long time ago. As usual, the American people have been ahead of the curve. Howell simply told us what we already knew.
