"The one thing that they agree strongly with us on is that it's too easy for dangerous people to get guns in this country," he said. If one reads the Constitution and/or writings by the Founding Fathers, the truly dangerous people are an oppressive government, for which the the citizenry must be well armed to protect itself from. Helmke and his ilk ought to be considering what "sensible" limits they should be putting on the Federal government to prevent it from becoming even more dangerous.

"I guess if you're a dangerous person you might want to run out there and buy some more, but otherwise you should be OK." You may want to "guess" again. "Dangerous" people don't buy guns legally, they buy then through the black market or they steal them, so what's "OK" about making it harder for "safe" people to get guns legally?

I am waiting for a public announcement from the "GREAT ONE" About this shortly.. Standing side by side with Brady campaign inc, and All our Democratic leaders. They will tell you... don't buy guns... The NRA is responsible for this "terrible misinformation" We will "PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS" AND TAKE CARE OF THE NRA :):) My advise is Buy as much ammo/ " assault rifles" as you can afford and then some. where are all the OBAMNITES???

Cobra said:"Dangerous" people don't buy guns legally, they buy then through the black market or they steal them, so what's "OK" about making it harder for "safe" people to get guns legally?" Well, dangerous people do buy guns legally, see Virginia Tech Massacre: The massacre prompted rapid changes in Virginia law that had allowed Cho, an individual adjudicated as mentally unsound, to purchase handguns without detection by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). It also led to passage of the first major federal gun control measure in more than 13 years, a law that strengthened the NICS, which was signed by President George W. Bush on January 5, 2008.[8] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Tech_massacre

Local gun shops in CT are swamped, they are out of almost everything. There is a couple of week wait for any kind of AR-15 or tactical type home protection shot gun (ie remington 870, mossberg 500/590) and ammo is going as fast as they get it in. I bought all the 12 ga 00buckshot my store had left. I suggest you do the same. Obama/Soetoro's brownshirt civilian force is on the way.

My question about the Virginia Tech massacre - How many lives would have been saved had professors been allowed to have concealed carry? I tend to think that crazy people bent on killing will do it whether they use a car, chainsaw, or anything else.

The terrorist are coming here to be put on trial, and we don't need guns? What are the left-wing illuminati really drinking?
