the best advice Barack Obama has heard about his most important appointment comes from John Bolton, the former ambassador to the United Nations: "Obama should remember the rule that you should never hire somebody you can't fire." ===================== If only Bolton has told Pres. Bush that back in 2000.

These brain-dead people should not even vote ! www.HowObamaGotElected.com looks at how media coverage of the 2008 election impacted what Obama voters knew (or thought they knew) about the campaign... YouTube - How Obama Got Elected... Interviews With Obama VotersNov 16, 2008 ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=mm1KOBMg1Y8 BUT WAIT THERE IS HOPE, THEY CAN....TEXT MESSAGE. .

Someone else is pulling Obama's strings. Bringing in the HillBills will create a power struggle alright, but not with Obama but between whoever it was that ousted the inevitables during the campaign and the envitables.

Obama has already brought back the Clintocrats. Why not install Hillary as Sec. of State? Look, Obama has achieved the only thing he will be remembered for: getting elected America's first somewhat black president. Now he is turning all the reigns of power over to others, the same others he has been marching in lock step with since 2005. This is the expected behavior of a go-along-to-get-along empty suit. He wants what they want what he wants. If they need him (for what I don't know), they can phone him. Right?

Another great opinion piece by Mr. Pruden. I never miss them! Has anyone thought that Hillary - as Secretary of State - would be 4th in line to become president, if there should suddenly be 4 heart attacks? Just my 2 cents worth.

``"To appoint a very strong personality with an independent constituency into a Cabinet position," he says, would be "a symbol of a new approach." All perhaps true.`` Wait a minute, Mr. Kissinger. This suggests that GWB's cabinet is devoid of any strong personality. But yet I seem to recall Condi Rice & Donald Rumsfeld being part of that administration, and I have a hard time thinking of stronger personalities than those!

Liberals & the media liked to portray Cheney as the "evil Darth Vader puppetmaster" of George Bush. Think about it. If those clowns weren't saying that Bush was Satan incarnate, they were surely saying it about Cheney. My how history repeats itsself. The only difference b/w the Bush-Cheney relationship & the coming Obama-Clinton one is just as Mr. Pruden & Slick Willie both state: A buy one, get one free proposition. This will be a very Clintonista heavy admin indeed, given all of the former "big names" from that admin. that have already been put in important posts. Dire Straights actually wrote a song about it: "The Boys Are Back in Town".

I'm certain the State Department people are elated about the prospects of going from one refined female Secretary eminately versed in affairs of state to a real crude female that may not even know one foreign language. The Obama administration is truly destined for the history books by setting security matters of the president himself on end while setting standards for his staff that even he would fail. Conflict of interest, loyality to the country, uprightness and virtue - all meaningless. When will these standards trickle down so I too can work for the federal government?

The State Department will love to have Hillary as she speaks the same language, everything is the fault of America. Getting Bill to work for nothing is a feat in itself, but, at least our enemies love him.

Hillary would make a better Sec. of State than that moribound dufus John Kerry. And think of how entertaining it will be to watch Obama try to tame Hil and Bill without offending half of the Democratic Party. Fun, fun, fun! http://timetorevoltamerica.blogspot.com

timetorevolt-- an interesting point. please tell me john "idiot" kerry is not in line for a cabinet position. that guy's not qualified to sweep the streets of beacon hill! it will indeed be interesting to see how well bo can tame the clintons. in fact, i'd venture to state that it will be a very good, early litmus test for his presidency.

sikologik, what has qualifications to do with pure, refined cronyism?

. . In no way can Barack Obama pick Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. There would be a huge conflict of interest with all of Bill Clintons foreign and international shady business dealings in which many have never been made public. Under a Hillary Clinton secretary of state with husband Bill, many conflict of interest transactions would occur. So it's not gonna happen. .
