Obama sets sights on overhaul of football's BCS playoffs

Worst article ever. Obama was clearly joking and they were having a light-hearted conversation after a pretty intense 45 minutes of policy. You write this as if it's some huge new controversial policy that's he's going to try and push through congress. Why? Have you no journalistic integrity whatsoever - are you simply trying to stir the pot and get people angry on one side or the other? I didn't even vote for Obama but I'll support my president - and stupid articles like this - trying to make controversy out of comedy is the last thing this country needs right now. Grow up. He was showing a lighter side - as an American football fan - and joking about what most of us believe to be fact: The BCS is annoying. It was a great moment of comic relief and an endearing quality for a president to have.

Yes, I'm sure it (the Q & A ) was in jest, but, Mr. Obama does have a point. The BCS only allows the top schools who, by the way, has the most money, to play in these top 5 BCS bowls. For argument sake, take Utah, who might be 10-0, and UF who might be 9-1. Now the BCS says UF will go to Orange Bowl, and Utah will go to a lower (way lower) bowl. Is that fair? Especially rated by computers, not human beings. College football DOES need a playoff system, but it seems to me and other fans also, the presidents of these colleges are content with the money they make and the heck with the other part of the U.S.A.

The left-wing illuminati have far more to worry about than the NCAA playoffs. Fix the country first!
