Notice the trend? Obama stayed out of TARP debate, too. Poorly informed? Check. No leadership skills? Check. Ultrapolitical? Check. Waiting for others to take the initiative in a time of crisis? Check. Post election vetting of our Commander in Chief now complete.

A President-elect who appears afraid to lead? It is beginning to look like Obama really does represent "change" when compared to President Bush. But let's be fair. Obama probably hasn't had time to get all the old Clinton team back together. In particular he has yet to get the old focus group gurus back in business. If we hear that Dick Morris is coming back we will know that Obama will soon be ready to make the tough decisions required of a Democrat President. Until then I will help President-elect Obama. All those that support a auto-bailout raise your hands. All those opposed ...

Once again, b.o. has failed to lead. He is lurking in the shadows waiting for someone to write him a lofty speech.

The USA only has one president at a time. I wonder why the Japanese car companies have unions in Japan that guarantees the Japanese worker a good wage and don't have unionize workers here.

Another "present" vote.

In two months, Obama will have to start making executive decisions. No more casting "present" votes, and then no more hiding. We'll see how dangerously unqualified Obama is. Yes, changes are coming to Washington, and they'll be bad! He'll keep changing his positions until no one knows what America stands for anymore.

Policies

President-elect Obama is correct not to voice his support now. January 20 is less than 70 days away. If the vote fails now, the new Congress with a higher Democratic Majority will be able to approve the bailout regardless of a filibuster in the Senate. Then President Obama can approve the auto industry bailout. Why should he show his cards now when he is not in power and is part of a 49-49 (not including the two independents) Senate versus a soon to be 56-42 or 58-40 Senate with much more Democratic power. You do not reveal your hand in weakness the position that George Bush is currently in but in strength the position Barack Obama will be in soon.

To Policies, If Obama, once President, push for the "auto industry bailout", as you stated he would, Obama will find this would be a stupid move, and will try to snake himself out of it, and then change his mind again, then get pushed by the Democratic Congress and by the labor union. Then, try to do one thing while saying another. And then proceed to blame the whole mess on the bad Bush policies of the last 8 years. The honeymoon will come to an end!

Obama won't intervene in the flood of ILLEGAL ALIENS coming across the border either. Hidden cameras on the border are taking videos of the massive numbers. www.borderinvasionpics.com See the videos. Incredible.

As Lee Iacoca said..."lead, follow or get out of the way". Obama has chosen not to lead so that leaves follow or get out of the way. Now that's change I can believe in.

The New World Order crowd are finally seeing the last American industry coming down. They have won with their so called FREE TRADE agenda. After the fall of this industry we will no longer be the country of our forefathers. Adam Smith and his FREE TRADE agenda was NOT embraced by George Washington yet they lived at the same time in history. The great war machine called America will also crumble after the auto industry is gone. The long journey from the greatest nation to a Fourth World country is well on it's way. When your grandchildren ask you what happened to our country just tell them we failed in the free market unable to compete with countries that actually supported their industrial companies in hard times. I am sure China and Japan will stand by and see their car manufacturers go under.

I think the President elect is going to find that there is a big difference between a suggestion and a decision. It is not his time to make decisions yet, but that time will come shortly and we will see if he mans up then.

Once again our soon to be Second Coming figuratively votes `Present'...even though he really isn't.

Having read all the HATE Obama posts I will pass on reading this site until January 20. 2009. Bush is the President TODAY not Obama, at least let Bush get out of the way before the attacks began. It is BUSH that destroyed our nation with his New World Order FREE TRADE agenda. In China the Japanese partner with the Chinese government, yet here the various states gave them HUGE tax breaks to help destroy our industry. In Japan they have unions here they pay sub-par wages in poor southern communities using tax breaks to slowly kill our native companies. That Day has arrived and it is UNDER BUSH not Obama. In January attack away, but for now PLEASE keep your HATE to yourself.

If GM, Ford or Chrysler reorganized, retooled and reopened as a non union industry they would compete and win. This is not a government problem it's a UAW problem. Throwing today's money at Detroit is like replacing the kitchen in a house with rotted walls. First things first.
