Not this blogger! To say I am happy right now would be a great understatement. Sens. Reid, Dodd and others ignored the few, but loud, angry voices calling for retribution against Senator Lieberman and instead decided no to punish Joe for endorsing and supporting his friend, John McCain. We, the netroots community in support of Joe, congratulate him on his recent victory. Way to go, Joe! http://letjoestay.blogspot.com/

How was Obama elected? Did he cheat - did he pay voters, how much did he lie? How much did he steal. He IS a liar, a cheat, a Manchurian Candidate and the Devil incarnate. HOW DID THIS LIAR GET ELECTED? THAT IS MY QUESTION. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY????

Yea, i am not sure Lieberman had much to do with Obama getting elected. At least i didn't hear much from him. i really think this guy has had his run and Obama should bring somebody in fresh. The illuminati can't just put in people who they felt helped them in the election... can they?

Lieberman is not an independent. His support of "maverick" McCain is because McCain wanted escalate the war against Iran. Lieberman is a Zionist. His support for McCain was based on ethnocentrism.

Not to worry as Obama knows what he's doing. The Dems need Liebermans vote and you can bet he was only able to keep his committee by agreeing to this vote. However, Connecticut is free to VOTE HIM OUT at his re-election to the Senate and I hope they will.

AMAZING! "Zionist," hunh? And its ususally liberals like RZW that are the first ones to call out conservatives for such "hateful"(to use their phrase)rhetoric. I guess being a liberal gives you a liscense to say stuff like that. Just the same way that the Prop 8 Protestors are calling black folks the "n" word b/c black preachers advocated for it. I'm a proud Jewish conservative Repub & have been troubled for some time at the undercurrent of anti Semitism coming from the far left. I suppose it follows along the same school of thought as the Blame Amrica First mindset. Except its Blame Israel First. Funny how libs always are so quick to call conservatives Nazis & hateful. My, my how we talk the talk about inclusion, but sure don't walk the walk. Hey, RZW, I got a white sheet you can borrow.

That's right merankin6, he can't/ And too bad for that. Boo-hoo for you. I guess that you'll have to do what the rest of us have to do when we have to listen to charlatans like Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Fwank, etc. Sit there & deal with it & hope that they either get embroiled in scandal, or pray that the people who elected them vote them out. I'm sure you'd LOVE for one person in gov't. to be able to fire a representative of the people. Sounds like the lefty version of not so representative democracy. "You're only 'in' if you tow the party line & subscribe to the overall groupthink," must be how it goes. All other dissenters must be cast out & their voices not heard. Sounds like you only want the gov. to represent the will of those who unswervingly support the new gospel recently added to the lefty bibile by Saint Barack the Socially Just. All the rest of us are heathens to be exterminated by your lefty crusade, & poor ole Joe, just for speaking out against St. Barack, is now just like us. My, how inclusive you people are.

Lieberman is an arrogant, self-serving and often very silly man. Like most Democrats I would have told him where to get off. He didn't hang around to back up Gore in 2000 and he has demonstrated little in the way of courage or conviction since. His moral posturing is nothing more than a cover for his own inflated ego. But Obama's smarter than most of us run of the mill Dems. He knows that by keeping old Joe he demonstrates his own power and Lieberman's weakness. Hopefully Joe will now cut down on the wind-bag rhetoric and drift off to retirement in a couple of years.

Joe has been loyal to his constitiuents in CT and we relected him even after the Democratic party kicked him under the bus for their sycophant toady "Little Neddy" LaMont, and will do so again. Joe represents the citizens of CT (as is his JOB) NOT the Democratic party or their party line. Too bad more politicians (like Chris Dodd) don't do their job by representing the interests of THEIR constitiuents. The elitist attitude on BOTH sides of the isle sickens me. Joe is one of the only two Democrats I have ever voted for and I'm proud of it. He will stay in office as long as he chooses to. I do believe however that he is considering retirement after this term.

It's not sincere, and Lieberman knows it. However he will vote with the liberal illuminati just to get back in with their "click."
