LETTER TO EDITOR: 'Card check' strengthens unions

53% of all Americans get some kind of government check every month now. How much more do we have to do. I have been a sef-employed painting contractor for 37 years. Election night I recieved a phone call notifying me that a $25K job I have had in the works since May is now on hold. Is this W's fault? I have no work right now, so where do I sign up for my unemployment compensation? Here's a hint for you non home schooled "folks" out there- I can't get paid for not working!
