A little protectionism on our border might not hurt our country.

Bush Urges Countries To Avoid Protectionism 11/23/08
The more "free trade" agreements we negotiate to satisfy a handful of our supercapitalists who want to do their manufacturing overseas, the worse grows our nation's trade imbalance.
One of the main reasons the U.S. shouldered Britain aside as the key economic superpower at the beginning of the 20th century was because Britain arrogantly accepted "free trade" agreements (which generally worked against her), while in those days the U.S. carefully negotiated each trade agreement to ensure that at least we came out even, and preferably that we came out ahead.
Free trade is just Republican code for let's loot the U.S. economy and treasury some more. Can America really take any more Reaganomics? Its time to demand restitution, and go after the Reaganite corporate raiders assets. Why should the tax payer (YOU) pay for some CEOs greed, if they were worth what they were paid why are there companies bankrupt.
