Barbara Boxer has only one agenda item, controlling the oil and energy industry. Global warming may be a closed discussion for consensus but shouting down and intimidating the dissent does NOT make it scientifically unequivocal, it only means that she is afraid of losing the tax revenue from CAP and Trade and regulatory capture leverage of environmental control of the energy and oil industry. Global warming is a disaster insurance scam and consensus science is environmental state of fear jury shopping. Additionally any more increases in biofuels, especially converting food to energy will disrupt the commodities market and could cause increased prices as it did before, offsetting the economic benefits and once again creating the possibility of developing countries starvation. Boxer and the Democrat majority Congress have NO transition plan to maintain the current energy demand stability much less the increased demand. It took over 100 years to optimize the cultural, economic and technological carbon based systems of today. Current technology, infrastructure and support environments for green do not exist. Obama and the Democrats plan is a national security risk because of a lack of energy independence, NOW. If anything happens in Iran the Straits of Hormuz will be threatened and Putin's confidence building partnership with Chavez will likely lead to reduced if not removed oil shipments to the U.S. in support of Iran if Israel decides to carry out their plans of Iranian non-proliferation. We also have to consider the risk that the global warmists are wrong, carbon is not the enemy, we may be in a cooling trend and we are constraining energy that could be developed to keep people from freezing and starving to death. I don't think any politician and especially Boxer has any idea of the impact of their programs. They proved it with the biofuels and economic bailout debacles and yet these same idiots remain in power.

"Mrs. Boxer announced last week her plans to introduce two bills in January to combat climate change." Politicians are going to legislate themselves in Gods, with the power to control the climate itself. Nero would be proud!

What a crock..... WHERE is the PROOF that CO2 is a pollutant, or that emissions of it cause global warming? Instead of the LIES that emanate from the fake scientists who take government GRANT BRIBES in return for a promise to LIE for The Greens, how about some TRUTH to the people for a change? It is high time these hustlers and fakers admit there is no real scientific evidence that MAN is responsible for warming or cooling of the earth? If there are those who believe otherwise, they must be able to PROVE IT, or shut up. And that goes for such nutcases as Senator Boxer and her creepy crooked cronies from the land of the fruits and nuts, Californica.

The liberal illuminati will not introduce these bills, and if they do, the lefties won't vote them through. Good thing, because they should leave the climate be.
