Cheap gas stalls green efforts

Don't start with anything variable. It produces uncontrollable degrees of freedom. Like variable interest rate loans, you are assumptions into the future that are totally unpredictable. Like cap and trade, there is no measure of effectiveness so therefore it produces NOTHING but revenue for the government and a burden on tax payers when they are bailing out the government for lousy analysis and decisions. Remember, those same people that were here when Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the CRA were implemented with a complete lack of risk management and oversight, are still the same idiots in charge. Insanity is sometimes defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

It's not surprising that govt wants to solve the cheaper gasoline problem by piling on taxes. It's what they do. Let's let the private sector deal with this! Drill here, drill now,. Double the number of nuclear power plants. Develop and use clean buring coal plants. Communism does't work.

The Reid-Pelosi-Left Wing nutcases just can't wait to punish low income Americans for wanting and trying to live like they do. They will not stop trying to falsely raise the price of energy. They want the US to be a loser, just like they are. Eliminating fossil fuels from the energy equation is not just foolhardy, it is an intentional attempt to turn this country into a bankrupt Third World Nation.

I new it was too good to be true! And i kinda thought this was a hook since prices started dropping. These illuminati don't really want to help us they just want to hook us. We scared them by using less oil and getting serious about alternative resources. So they will back off for awhile and then slowing starting jacking up the prices again. it's the from in hot water theory. THey are just trying to find out how fast they can turn up the water temp $$$ so that we won't notice.

When will the greenies be satisfied? When were all living in huts and farming again? Let them lead the way. If it works for them and their kids, I might start to think about it. Until then I like living like an American and not like a European!

Gas prices will go back up in the Peak Oil energy crisis. According to most independent studies, global oil production will now decline from 74 million barrels per day to 60 million barrels per day by 2015. During the same time demand will increase 9%. Not enough credit is being given to the high gas prices this past year and it's serious damage on our economy and society. That one factor alone has caused serious stress in both individuals and businesses. A record number of homes and jobs have been lost as a direct result. And, while we are doing the happy dance around the lower prices at the pumps OPEC is announcing cuts to manipulate the prices upward again. We must get on with becoming energy independent.We can't take another year like this past. Is anybody like me and just suspicious that as soon as Obama gets into office and starts messing with things that this is going to distant memory. All these great gas prices. The liberal illuminati are going to tank this whole thing with all the green initiatives!
