LESSER: In the air over there

I am amazed at the Europeans complete and total lack of understanding of the US. When I see the US through European eyes I do not recognize the same country. Where are these theocrats? Where is the crushing of dissent? Have anyone there been paying attention to the debates about Iraq for the last few years? It appears to me that the Europeans have been listening to far too much news from their anti-American news services. The absurd ignorance of Europe is a sign of their increasing irrelevance on the world stage.

Quite frankly I don't care what Europe thinks of me, my country or my religious beliefs. They are the ones rolling over to radical Islam, socialism and every other ism on earth. They don't like our politics? They'll still come begging every time they have a natural disaster or war they need help with.
