This means China will be taking over the world within the next two decades!!

China is a peace only seeking nation. Yep. Take a look at how China is interacting with its immediate neighbor the Republic of Korea. Its boats violate South Korea's territorial waters on a daily basis. When boarded by South Korean authorities, they beat the crap out of them and even killed one. They do all this with a smile and an apology, but the boats keep on coming. There may come the day when South Korea begins sinking Chinese so-called fishing boats. Think so? Likely not. How China gets away with this portends how it will entreat, or I should say treat our country in the future, as a peace-seeking nation, yep.

The USA, definitely needs a solid capability to gaurantee its existence. What worries me is that this could be undermined by trying to continue to project power worlwide, against more and more adversaries, with more and more capabilities. With a limited physical economic capacity, this approach could stretch the USA to the limit and bankrupt it.

China is not to dominate the world. I know it looks like it but look where they were 30 years ago. Europe and the US have enabled them and there economy to prosper there by they are bulking up the military for obvious reasons unknown to them. China has a role to play in History. Russia has signed a pact with Iran/Persia and China. All this has occurred and it leads up to one great event that was foretold over 2 thousand years ago. You can research it yourself if your mind is truly open. Here is part of the info, the rest you can find yourself. 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. Ask your self where does an Army this large come from and who currently can boast of having a 200 Million Man Army in any part History? 12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the KINGS of the EAST MIGHT BE PREPARED. China is being prepared for the Battle of Armageddon to attack Israel. This battle will be fought in the Last Days before Jesus Christ physical return. It’s amazing how all the prophesies in the Bible are coming to pass in this the last generation. Everyone said Russia was dead militarily but you saw how merciless they were in Georgia and “They” said 15 years ago Russia would never be back. Russia is back and is also being prepared for this event. Is anything to hard for God Almighty. Research it………………

The 64 thousand dollar question is: "Will China loan America the money to build the missile shield that will defend America against China"? If China does... that will probably mean they think it won't work!

The biggest danger to usa is the fact the clowns that wrote report on "biggest danger to usa".. either are off-planet or simply have not done reality check on usa economy.. We are not guns and butter now.. we are pea shooter and a dab of margarine. Amusing how simple those behind the curtain can tell those on the road what to worry about..RIP USA.. am sure China will lend us money to build a system we STILL do not know works under real world conditions..soooooo "hey China.. want to toss a few BIL more in the pot?".. at what point does all the nearly endless usa failures, become regarded as comedy..albeit tragic comedy?

Give me a break, just an opportunity for the military to ask Congress for more money...it's all a game for the parties involved, use taxpayers' money to build more and fancy toys for grown men. Who cares which side has more power, bigger guns or balls...

You can thank Bill Clinton. For a $500,000 campaign contribution and other money under the table, Bill clinton approved the sale of Loral missile guidance technology to the chinese. Even though the pentagon said no!

Not to worry, shortly after January 20, 2009 President Obama will sit down with Wen Jibao and convince him that PRC's military buildup is not in their best interest. Strong diplomacy is the Obama panacea for what ails the world.

The difference between capitalist democracies and communist countries is that capitalist countries engage military involvement to free populations from tyranny. Communist countries tend to occupy countries to enslave them. Look no further than Tibet and Nepal. I wouldn't be so quick to turn a benign eye to the Chinese.

Why waste our money - they will just steal our secrets as they always do.

Wendy have courage! Remember FDR "WE have nothing to fear but fear itself" Think of another reason to vote for socialism.

I'm sorry but Bill Gertz has been paranoid about China since the days that they could only grow rice. If this article were written by anyone else, I might believe the half of it.
