They have passed the bail-out package--now who will post bail for Dodd and Reid?

Is Obama outraged enough to introduce spending cuts. The average person mainstreet doesn't want a new welfare system any more the they want to bail out Wall Street.

I am furious with this Congress! The very people who created this “crisis” are now going to “rescue” us…this is rich! And THEN they have the audacity get in front of microphones, patting each other on the back…the big heroes of the day. (With special thanks to Chris Dodd and Barney Franks of course) I am disgusted!! I don’t want the governments “help” with anything!! The federal government has very specific roles spelled out in the constitution. It has become too huge…interfering in almost all aspects of our lives…and the “help” it provides is always poorly and inefficiently meted out. They create a crisis and then rush in to save us…and on we march to becoming a socialist state where the government handles everything. Any thoughts as to what they are going to do with all of the foreclosed homes that they will soon own??…my local government has already begun suggesting making them into subsidized affordable housing…just more welfare entitlements on the backs of the taxpayers!

Governemment provide me with the umbrella of freedom and a saftey net for those in dire need. In the meantime STAY OUT OF MY POCKET

Obama's platform ..more entitlements..supported by those seeking entitlements creates larger government with voters supporting the entitlements at the tax payers expense. A voting block of those on entitlements bashing the very people who earn it ---the so called rich! Self fulfilling prophecy. SOCIALISM...SOCIALISM...SOCIALISM

A shaken, chastened, red-eyed President of the United States - on his his knees for the past days, several lighting candles, begging for forgiveness to a small Pelosi doll and pasting ashes on his forehead -- was helped to this feet last night. .....his aides murmured the news of the senate vote moment before Instantly!!!! The President gave praise, playing the harp and the lute as he danced around the Oval Office singing..."We are saved!"..."We are Saved".... "Thank Da Lawd... we are SAVED!" Suddenly a heavenly host of Republicans joined in led by Hank Paulson, Ben Bernake and Cox... singing: "Yes we gutted and wrecked the Global economy on out watch "Yes the taxpayers will bailout our rich friends in Banking and Finance "Yes we strap on our Golden Parachutes and get out of Dodge as the nation crashes and burns into Economic Recession "Thank Da Lawd....we are SAVED!"

The TRUTH is that Barack Hussein Obama was DIRECTLY involved in the failure of Fannie Mae, receiving $100,000 even AFTER it was well known that Fannie Mae was in serious trouble. Watch for yourself on this link: http://vodkapundit.com/?p=10199 The TRUTH is tha Barack Hussein Obama is supported by the Communist Party of America. Website: www.aboutus.org/Cpusa.org "Website of the Communist Party, USA. We fight for labor unity, peace, equality, democracy and socialism. The CPUSA is part of the growing anti-war movement, fighting for peace locally and nationally. We love Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton and will do everything we can to get our comrades elected to the White House. Then we will be able to complete our takeover by shutting down talk radio and free speech via the internet." Main site: www.cpusa.org Their ring leader: Matt Parker, Communist (google him) mattp@cpusa.org Headquarters: 235 W 23RD ST NEW YORK, NY 10011-2302 The evil that surrounds Barack Hussein Obama should make EVERY American shudder at the thought of this man becoming President of the United States. If you truly care about the very survival of Capitalism, Democracy, and Freedom, spread the TRUTH about Barack Hussein Obama and the danger he represents. NOT ANOTHER HUSSEIN! McCain / Palin 2008

One other thing…I want people in the government held accountable!!!! This bailout does not address the fact that it was government that caused this crisis!!! I don’t see anything addressing the policies and practices that led to the subprime mortgage mess. Congress refuses to admit to its mistakes! It is too politically incorrect to spell out what has happened with Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac…obviously, you are mean spirited and hateful if you mention how unwise it is to FORCE banks into providing loans to people who can’t afford them. Or that the stupid government mandated financial & accounting rules in the Sarbanes Oxley act are creating problems. I don’t want to give these buffoons in Congress any more power or money until I see some changes….and wording in this bill perpetuates the idea that it is the government’s role to ensure that people can get mortgages. I am furious with these people!!!

Hello! Scuse me. We, out here, are absolutely transfixed by all this! Seems that you started it all in 1773 with the glory of “The Boston Tea Party.". Is it all to end, then, ignominiously with the shame of the Goldman Sach's "Washington Wall Street Champagne Party."? What then the intelligence of these Washington Government people; when they cannot see the ridicule and shame that will be heaped on them by history after these unbelievably obscene Golden Parachutes! Stanley O'Neal Company: Merrill Lynch Total: $161 million Charles Prince Company: Citigroup Total: $105 million Angelo Mozilo Company: Countrywide Total: $56 million Kerry Killinger Company: Washington Mutual Total: $44 million Ken Thompson Company: Wachovia Total: $42 million Richard Fuld Company: Lehman Brothers Total: $24 million Alan Fishman Company: Washington Mutual Total: $19 million ( three weeks employment)! John Thain Company: Bear Stearns Total: $13 million (employment less than 1 year!! )! James Cayne Company: Merrill Lynch Total: $9 million Robert Willumstad Company: AIG Total: $22 million (was declined)

110 billion in pork barrel attached to this so called rescue. God help us. We are out of control in Washington. Who can you trust? Washington and financial markets need some PR to improve their credibility. There is no trust with either institution. So who do they hang on every word is the one with the least experience of all...Obama. On a wing and a prayer as we fly into the abyss.

Where do you begin fixing the problem. Begin by walking in our shoes by eliminating all the politician retirement perks/pensions/healthcare and join the ranks of the tax payer. No more Golden Parachutes for politicians at the tax payers expense. Including state pensions as well!!! Then and only then tell me you feel my pain. What does a politician have to lose either way..performance or non-performance as long as there is a tax payer. First in line is B. Franks followed by Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, just for a start. Accountability begins in Washington setting the bencmark for all to follow. Good luck. Now back to the world of reality. Hide your money folks they are a comin!!

What happened to John McCain's pledge to "name names and make them famous" in regard to earmarks? Why wait until he's president - why not tell us who wrote what into this bill?

So let me the American Tax Payer get this right...as American, I am unemployed, no insurance and looming foreclosure where Christmas would be on a park bench if I am lucky.... The Three Stooges from the Administration came out including The President of our banana republic that we need to pass a three page bailout...or face 'tun tunnna' The Great Depression. The House, for once in 30 decades rightly grew balls at the 11th hour and rejected it The three stooges make another appearance and change the fear factor to a credit freeze so the common American Dumb and Dumber could relate to it by saying you cannot buy a car now since no one is going to process the loan....which in turn would make them stop intimidating the "elected impotent representatives" Then, Senioritis in the Senate "the fat cats of politics", have the time and the nerve to add bells and whistle or what everyone in America call PORK to the bill and pass it along with would you believe Tax Cut to the very corporation that raped us. They call it the "sweeteners". Of course since they wont be paying for it anyways because most of them would be either dead or dying in the coming decade So the Average American is still screwed, the bill has a $100 billion freebies and the Congress, The Senate and the Three Stooges are going to tell me that they have time to add PORK … but no time to get the bill right to make sure we have a good sound financial system? My fellow Americans...please stand up and grow some balls or may I suggest get a tattoo on your forehead which says "Screw me I am a Certified American Tax Payer No Taxations without Competent Representations
