emotions aside, why would obama who has far less experience than Palin be a safer choice with a joe Biden who has a very risky medical record? what do you know about obama's health? NOTHING. BECAUSE he has not authorized his doctor to release his full medical records. what we got was a summary. we dont know if obama is being treated for anything. we dont know if he has had a recent episode with a cocaine lapse. we dont know if he is prone to cancer which his mother died of. we dont know if he has a mental memory retention problem or early parkinsons, etc. we ALL KNOW OBAMA IS INCOHERENT SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES HAVE A VERY SHORT ATTENTION SPAN... OTHER TIMES HE SEEMS FINE... SOMETIMES HE FALLS ASLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF TALKING WITH HIM. IS THAT BAD SLEEP MANAGEMENT OR THE GLIMPSE OF A BIGGER PROBLEM. his medical summary simply attests to him being in "good health." sarah? If you believe a Quinnipiac U. poll, I have some oceanfront property in New Mexico that I want to sell you. This is the same Quinnipiac U. that, in Connecticut in 2006, had Lamont leading Liberman by 14 or 15 points. Guess who won? Quinnipiac never breaks down the figures over how many Democrats, or Republicans, or liberals or conservatives vote in the polls it runs. In any case, there are more registered Democrats than registered Republicans in the U.S. electorate. What the hell does that tell you? I'll tell you: That all polls, by their very existence, are slanted to Democrats. The Times is one of the few media outlets that has shown outstanding fairness in this campaign; it should cast a very dubious eye at outfits like Quinnipiac. B. Hussein Obama is the most dangerous man in America at this moment. That is the point, and the polls shouldn't be propping him up.

McCains chief of staff is openly gay. The McCain/Palin group just gladly accepted $2300 from Mandate, a gay sexual connection website for men. Take a look atheir web page. McCain has a history of no integrity with his first wife after she became handicapped...and laughs about his cheating on her, and Pallin celebrates the pregnancy of her unmarried teenage daughter (Sarah was already pregnant as well when she got married). Conservatives can't be happy learning about this stuff. Seems like the conservative edge is starting to learn about their candidates, their stunts (like pulling Palin in at the 11th hour to get Clinton's "women" vote... add to that Mccain's anger management issues and Palin's Hockey mom, jo six pack Sheriff Marge of Fargo figure I would believe most repubs cannot relate to. The two are looking sillier every day. Unfortunately, regardless of the credentials, some (hopefully not too many) people will vote for them because they only vote republican, won't vote for a bi-racial president, will vote because there is a woman on the ticket...and Obama votes, in all honesty, will come that way as well.

Answer to TyinPS. I don't know where on earth you got this spin but it is this type of spinning that makes America sound bad. One of the questions that Rick Warren asked both Obama and McCain during his interview at his church was what had they done they regret. McCain's answer was how he regreted having an affair when married to his first wife and he was NOT laughing. Please, be sure you have your facts straight. The spin that Palin was pregnant when she got married comes from those far left spins zones. I'm sorry you don't watch some of the good spin along with the bad.

On energy policy: the only place Obama supports drilling is in your wallet. I'll give 95% of Americans a tax reduction in their Federal Income Taxes." A real Obama 'hat trick' since more than 40% of Americans don't pay ANY Federal Income Tax. "I agree, we need to control excessive government spending." Obama has proposed hundreds of billions of $s in NEW government spending; to include Foreign Giveaways mostly directed at Africa; and, even to the point of providing government funded health care and drivers licenses for 20million+ illegal aliens. "I warned of the deregulation of the mortgage industry." Obama fought Bush Administration efforts to reign in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae; and, even proposed legislation to prohibit mortgage lenders from tightening standards on low income borrowers. Not to mention the fact that he was a primary beneficiary of industry largess; tried to funnel tens-of-billions of $s in the Democrat's recent "Bailout Package" to the ACORN extremists; and, welcomed the likes of Bob Johnson, Franklin Raines and Penny Pritzker into his campaign structure.
