It is just incredible that Obama has to keep denouncing people that he has associations with. When his "friends" are brought up, right away he cries, "smear" He seems to have too many "friends" for me to trust!!

Anna07: Are you serious? Are you asleep? John McCain has ties with so many so called "friends" that have the worst imaginable backgrounds that it is hilarious to see that they are going down this road. John McCain should not even be a senator right now after the Keating Five deal. McCain doesn't have any substance left in his campaign so he has to resort to made up character attacks. I have lost all respect for John McCain and he is NO hero in my book.

If Sen. Obama, his Presidential Campaign and allies have nothing to hide concerning his, alleged, shady ties to radicals, why: 1) are they and the supposedly balanced Main Stream Media (MSM) so irritated at Gov. Palin for quoting allegations that had been initially published in The New York Times, which is also considered to be part of the fair and balanced MSM, and, sadly, is now, more than likely, going to be labeled, by some in our society, as being a racist for having the fortitude to quote The New York Times? 2) are they so adamant and diligent about unfairly character assassinating Gov. Palin from day one through their aggressive and blatant non-stop investigation of her, her family and friends and selectively sharing those findings, that may be considered as dirt, with the American people without being considered, by some in our society, as being racist for doing so? 3) is the MSM, which I have always believed to be fair and balanced in their reporting, especially when it came to something as important and critical as a presidential election, but, for some unknown reason and/or hidden agenda, has recently come across as unfair and blatantly one-sided by not being as adamant and diligent when it comes to thoroughly and aggressively investigating Sen. Obama's, alleged, shady radical affiliates and being up-front with the American people by sharing their findings (good or bad) with them, which I find extremely troubling because, for sixty-two years I have been under the distinct impression that we, as Americans, were living in a democratic society and not a socialist one? Or, maybe, as a proud American, I am expecting too much from the MSM and, sadly, will also be seen, by some in our society, as being a racist for having the fortitude to demand a fair and balanced MSM in our democratic, United (Not Divided) States Of America? “God Bless Us”

Every one has a Skelton in there closet. It truly depends what it is no one is perfect but when you have quiet a few bad associates then it becomes a concern, we have all come across some one we don’t agree with. Especially if it offends our counties values, when we come across people that offends us we find a nice way of avoiding them totally. No one hangs around some one they don’t agree with for 20 years or even one year. Obama has way too many bad associates that have a real hatred towards main stream America. Some one has to lay down the facts unfortunately Sara Palin has to speak out someone has to let us know who we are voting for. The media should really be the one informing us after all isn’t it there job. I’m quite surprised of how many haters of America like Obama Do you really think they would like America if he is elected eeeem!!! We as voters have a right to know

I think McCain needs to focus on the issues because if it's about who you have associated with then we wouldn't give him a second look because we are really upset at Bush and we have seen him with him too many times. No one can attack anyone on church values because from what i see McCain and Palin also have issue dealing with the way God's plan is suppose to be carry out.So before they go airing out others dirty laundry they need to clean their own.

I will be so very happy, when you media people, get your Arab-American, Muslim loving, president, the second Muhammed, because when Iran, Syria, and Russia and Cuba come in here and blow this apart, I get to see your destruction and will be dancing in the streets like the Muslims. I really do want you all to have your Osama Hussein Obama President, so your armageddon destruction will come soon. You see you're going down with the ship and the free press will be over. We, the real people, will win the war in the end. So I really hope and pray that it happens soon just for you.

We learn by our mistakes. McCain's behaviour in the Senate bears it out. What have Obama's adventures with Rev. Wright, Ayers and others taught him? Was he always the eloquent "deceiver" he is today?

If by republicans pointing out facts about Obama's character flaws and guilt by association are considered "SMEARS" by the inevitable next pres and his handlers, than the past eight years of press coverage of the White House are also "SMEARS" and McCain should sing that out loudly and clearly. Let facts be exposed whatever they are. Please enlightened us, the masses who have been suffering the oppression of misinformation over the past years, courtesy of a media gone as far awry as the democrat led/MISlead Congress under their so-called leaders, like the Matriarch Pelosi, Dodd, Frank, and that great Nevadian who I'm loathe to type his name.

Obama has a lot more "skeletons" in his closet than Senator McCain. Americans do not know nearly enough about this man. Who is he, who is behind him? There are many gaps in his history. The Democrats sound a little afraid that this is starting to come out at the eleventh hour and Americans will realize how really dangerous this man is.

Thank you Jesus for fairness. I am so pleased allies are on the case for Obama it bring tears to my eyes. Please allies help bring justice to Obama in this fight. We are hurting in this free world seeing all that has taken place the past two weeks. We need help because I for one can lose my retirement tied to the stock market. Not to mention my job, health insurance, house, car, and on and on. I am scare that something can happen that will destory our country and then we will become a third world country. I could care less about McCain and all the balderdash going on. Please God help us so that we can turn this election around and make something good happen.Lets stick together and run to the polls and vote in very, very large numbers for Obama/Biden to make a change for the better. You know what we have had in the past eight years of fail Bush/McCain. Now is our time to turn the real page for someone who is going to fight hard for us. Who is stable, focused, grounded and honest.

Hey, noboby is talking about "associations" with people. We are talking about PARTNERSHIPS. We are not talking about who appeared with McCain at a party or who donated somewhere. We are talking about people who engineered Obama's rise from a Nobody out of Columbia (where his records are still being kept SECRET--He won't release them!), to his PARTNERSHIPS in Chicago (where terrorist Ayers recruited him), to his PARTNERSHIPS in real estate deals with one of the worst convicted felons in Chicago political circles, to his PARTNERSHIPS (on left-wing boards of directors with the terrorist), to his PARTNERSHIPS (in a law firm with another terrorist), to his PARTNERSHIPS with former PLO members, etc. etc. We are not talking about secondary connections. Now---go ahead and come up with a comparable for McCain, if you can. I didn't think so. Obama is not of the people, by the people, or for the people----at least not the People of the United States.

The most dangerous entity to the USA is not Muslims, Russians, Chavez, Putin, Bin Laden, Kim Jung Il, that Iranian guy I can't even pronounce, or terrorists. It really isn't even a press gone wild, it is the American people. They do not have the educated intelligence to sort out fact from half truth, right from wrong, good from evil.

I would welcome Obama's campaign re-opening the Keating-5 events, just so the American people can see the enormous difference between how a man of principle like John McCain acts when confronted by corruption, and how someone like Obama acts, who is a dirty as a politician can get . PLEASE EVERYONE READ THE WIKIPEDIA VERSION OF THESE EVENTS UNDER "KEATING FIVE". Here is an excerpt: "The regulators then revealed that Lincoln was under criminal investigation on a variety of serious charges, at which point McCain severed all relations with Keating." McCain was tricked into attending one meeting. He was lied to about the purpose. When he learned of the real purpose---he left. Even John Glenn was more involved in it than McCain, and he was exonerated. McCain has nothing to be afraid of here. If this is the biggest stone the Glass-House That Is Obama can throw, then go ahead, but it will come back at you.

Ronnie Patrick: you are clearly speaking from ignorance and fear. If you fear what has just happened in the economy, you should know who caused it; the Community Organizer and his comrades in Congress, in forcing Banks to make risky loans to people who could not afford them. The economy under President Bush was, overall, doing well. Socialists (pronounced Democrats) will destroy it with job-killing taxes. They have already begun, as you can see, all in the name of "fairness". If you want to keep your job and your money, you should be voting for the fiscal conservative; that would be John McCain (who has never taken pork).

And Obama is anti-Semitic, just like Hitler, and a mole for Islamic fundamentalism. There is an investigation going on right now into Obama's fundraising, particularly violations of donation limits and internet donations from overseas, where amounts less than $200 do not have to be reported. Mass donations, by computer, coming from places like Saudi Arabia are pouring into Obama's campaign. Wake up America! The man is as dirty as Boss Daley.
