Why would blacks vote for Obama? No, really---WHY WOULD BLACKS VOTE FOR OBAMA? I am thinking they might be RACIST, but I would like to be wrong.

Unbelievable, now anyone who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist. The liberal left wing Nazi media is on a roll. Amazing, so I suppose those militants in Farakhan's and Jeese's camp aren't racist. The liberal whites are dying for anyone, anyone to get the white house, and the blacks all think somehow electing a black man means they're going to become more empowered. Why do you think so many white Democrats are for Obama? Is it because he's black and it's time or the truth? The truth is that they know the system. First they get the oval office, second they get to look like bleeding hearts for world theater, then they know the President is just a figure head. It simply won't change your lives, but they think by having majority control they will steam roll all their initiatives, which won't happen. But where does that leave the black-man? In exactly the same place or worse. Get the white house and no one will care to hear about how you're dis-enfranchised. You think there's prejudice now, just wait. So he gets in you actually stand to lose more. The danger is not that Obama is black but that he really doesn't have the experience in any national matters. You cannot run a country on an "agenda", it simply does not work that way. The liberal whites are just naive but the blacks think this is a game-changer. The question is just exactly what do you think's going to change? Yes, if Obama wins, he wins, you, really, want do you have in common with an elitist half-white with a Harvard education? Dream on.

Now you tell us. You mean this guy is black? Has he been black all along? Now at the last minute we find out that he is black, that black people may vote for him and that some white people might not vote for him because he is black? What a shocker.

OMG, black people still scare all of you right wingers and old people, don't they? That is so lame. Get over it. It doesn't matter!

This article is truly enlightening. For the life of me I just didn't know that Obama was an African American, and black at that. I heard he was from parents, one black but not African and the other white. I never thought about investigating it any further, but this article teaches me that Afro-Americans will vote for him just because he is not white. So, race is a factor after all, even though I'm still not sure about Afro-American, just black or mixed parents. Gee, anyway it's too much for me because I've been inculcated to "not go there."

Now Obama has time for blacks? I'm sure he will put their best interest first if elected. I wonder if all the black Christians will convert to Islam, because that will spread like wildfire once he's elected. Everyone is deaf, dumb and blind to the warning signs if Obama gets elected. You want a legitimate black president? Elect Denzel Washington. Good Christian, who readily gives back to the community. Not some self-serving socialist muslim.

tonykub..exactly. Now lets not call this rascist. Obama is a joke. Quantity not quality of votes. Win at all costs. Pull the derelicts from the street, give them a meal then vote Obama. Grab anyone with a pulse. Convince them government will provide by tkaing the monies from the those who work their butts off and prudent in their spending. Obama wants a fair world in other words Socialism. Perhaps the two parties should be called the Republican Party and the Peoples Socialist Party? Closer to the truth based on Obamas liberal voting record and tax increases.

A GOVERNMENT WHICH ROBS PETER TO PAY PAUL CAN ALWAYS DEPEND ON THE SUPPORT OF PAUL. GEORGE BERNARD SHAW *PAUL IS THE WORKING STIFF PAYING TAXES TO SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENTS ENTITLEMENTS Government' view of the economy could be summed in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. Ronald Reagan

America is about 13% Black....If 95% of them vote for Obama just because 'it's our time' without using any other cell in their cerebral space..Then only about 1 percent of them are True Americans. The rest wish to be as 'Pavlov's Dogs' which I don't believe they are. The accomplishments of the Black Race of this country in theater, the arts, politics, religion, music, and the civil rights courage and suffering for all of us I, as a white ex soldier, find offensive to believe Mr. Obama (whoever he really is), would USE these wonderful 'citizens of our country' and 'welcome' ones IN THIS WAY. I love the Black peoples' hearts, love for the Lord, music, and loving spirit. I do business with them and they welcome me into their home with joy. I know them, pray with them. They are a 'wonderful' and 'wholesome' and prayerful people as well as proud parents and citizens. I pray to God Almighty they can 'free up' their hearts and allow the True God of our Country into the light of cleanliness, affiliations, and respect, that the Republicans as Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, and more had in 'finally recognizing the strength and roots of those '4 million' whose 'base' they live with. Welcome home my brothers and sisters to the arms of John and Cindy McCain who will do, I swear do right by you. Selah.... Frank Pignone

Obama, through his surrogates like Gov. Sebelious already started this race card crap. That is most certainly bad enough but now the MSM is doing it for him as well. I predict this will backfire on them and become a self fulfilling prophecy.

rpsboyz

See, Obama is playing the race card. He expects a large black turnout, but the sad thing is, blacks that keep voting for democrats will never win. Democrats keep making promises to them and never keep them. Racism exists today because of people like Obama. The market is in the shape it is because of democrats. The mortgage crisis is because of groups like ACORN which Obama was part of. WHY CAN'T THESE STUPID LIBERALS UNDERSTAND THAT OBAMA IS NOT RIGHT FOR AMERICA? OBAMA WILL RIUN OUR GREAT NATION.

If voting for a black guy just because he is black isn't racist, then voting for a white guy because he is white isn't racist. Blacks have been toying with liberal whites for decades. How about we have a nation of Americans who believe in voting for qualifications and ideas, not birthrights. I am disgusted with hearing about race, race, race. There are more important issues.

So, Obama is just another run-of-the-mill shakedown artist like Jessa Jackson and that idiot Sharpton. No different. So much for "Change". What a joke. I wonder, when the black people in Detroit look at what the left and Democrats have done for them---keeping them in poverty, stealing them blind, giving them one corrupt crooked politician after another---I would have thought they'd be RUNNING FROM THE DEMOCRATS. Look, if they just vote for Obama because he's black, that's RACISM. If they would vote their own self-interest they would vote Republican---the Party of Lincoln, the party that abolished slavery and gave lives to do it, that gave them the first black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the first black Secretary of State, the first black woman Secretary of State, the first black Supreme Court Justice, and more blacks in the highest levels of American government---as opposed to the Democrats, the party of the Ku Klux Klan! (just ask old Bob Byrd) So, if this is NOT about racism, it seems to me that blacks would be rushing to get their vote in for Republicans across the country. But if it is all about race---then, I guess they will be RACIST and vote for Obama.

Pathetic. Blacks are voting for him simply because he is black? - Well never have I seen a people so willing to BLINDLY follow a man.. oh wait yes we have the nazi's in Germany. Yes, by all means vote for him because he's accomplished great things... (name ONE) Yes, by all means vote for him because he can bring us all together (sorry..wrong on that one - he's the only one telling people that he can't win because he doesn't look like the others on the dollar bill) Definitely vote for him for his vast experience in the political process (hummm.... can't do that either) and finally yes... vote for him on his stance on family and children's education... (nada..wants to kill unborn children and couldn't get the number of states right if his life depended on it) HOW IN the world can we take him seriously folks. This is not the time in our history for on the job training...just as his running mate has pointed out.

Here ya go ... I've changed "black" to "white" and "Obama" to "McCain" - sure hope this doesn't offend anybody... ST. LOUIS | After an aggressive push to register white voters using text messaging, ads on radio stations and Internet videos using popular stars and free concerts, the McCain team is turning to the next task: making sure that white voters show up on Election Day in bigger numbers than ever before. The campaign is going to places of worship and beauty salons in the urban centers of swing states in an effort to convince white citizens that their votes can make a difference. The Republicans "are counting on us to show up," Jurnee Smollett told a predominantly young and white audience at the National Step Show championships in Philadelphia in September. "They are scared in their boots. They know we single-handedly could put that man in office."
