Warner on cruise control in bid for Senate

I'm not a Gilmore fan at all. The Car Tax is a local issue, and instead of this Hillary-Care approach to the state collecting income taxes to pay the County for part of our car tax, Gilmore should have come clean and said "The State has no business telling Counties how to run their business." We're still paying all the same taxes, but we have to funnel them through a State Bureaucracy now. THIS is the smaller government Gilmore promised? But I don't like a single-party system, so if Obama gets the WH, I'd prefer that the Republicans control the House or Senate. I worry about 60 Democrats in the Senate who rubber-stamp Obama's appointments with a filibuster-proof majority. There's no accountability there.
