That was the most convoluted thing I've read in some time. I don't blame the author, but instead what they're trying to report. Eesh.

Little Hillary seems easily offended [even more so than BO?] -- first, when Gov Palin was to appear at same anti-iranian nuke rally, now this!

Obama is one clever fellow, he is. Using a small part of his vast campaign war chest to pay skilled pajama-clad, stay-at-home Internet posters. They don’t even need to inflate their tires to save on petroleum and on carbon emissions. Not that the poster’s comments ever pass the smell test. All this may work to influence Americans' opinions for an election, but this will not make Obama a statesman. He calls the lemmings of America to follow him over a cliff, but he cannot lead men. His radiance will numb the minds of the young and unwise, but not so the mature who can see where eloquence and charm substitute for substance and integrity. "Obama" is still an "empty suit". Devoid of principle, morality, or honesty, he represents a plan, still not fully disclosed, that would guarantee that all of us, the American taxpayers, would lose. He would bring change; a “fundamental” change, that will re-make America into something you would never recognize as the America where you were born and where you grew up.

McCain needs to just completely adopt Clinton's plan and be done with it.

fillinwood: this is from the article "And Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee who on Tuesday claimed Mr. McCain's plan was a rehash of an Obama plan, by Thursday was blasting the proposal as a sop to banks and a bad deal for taxpayers" Add this to the report from the Iraqi Govt. that claims Obama tried to influence them into NOT working with Bush in a troop withdraw plan, he wanted to use it as a political tool. Obama is a hypocrite, You want to distance yourself from disgrace by voting for him? Maybe you need to think about this.

moron it is violation of the Logan Act. Obama had no legal right to speak to Iraq about the troop withdraw (nor Clinton) without Bush's permission. And since he denies it (or should I say is calling the Iraqi leaders liars) he did not have permission. Don't cover for this horrible excuse for a person

There are no plans out there that can solve this mess. We need to get those responsible such as the leaders of Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac and ACORN. Today it seems that America is like a ship sailing in very rough seas. The ocean that she is sailing is full of people, Americans, ready to make a difference and put their shoulders to the problems facing America. However, as we all know, oceans are full of sharks and this ocean is so infested with sharks that it is named the Media Ocean. Consider: The Good Ship America, The Media Ocean and The Obama Iceberg at: http://zachjonesishome.wordpress.com/2008/10/10/the-good-ship-america-the-media-ocean-and-the-obama-iceberg/

filinwood, while I almost never actually comment on boards, after reading your rather ignorant or just plain silly comment i lt he need to point out that the last 8 years have been almost nothing as far as real change, Bush will go down in history as a do nothing president. let's look at history we had 9/11, the congress voted 542-3 to go ti Iraq (a bill written by a democrat, Gephart HJ-114) the patriot act (if your not talking to a terrorist or to a country on a watch list, your not tepped)that's the whole ball of wax on Bush's changes. now let's look at some famous Democrats- JFK, causes the Vietnam war where over 250,000 americans die, reinstates the draft after Ike removed it, causes the cuban missile crisis, uses the Mafia to win an election. Clinton, my favorite becuae he is the orchestrator of the wall street collapse, 1992 put HUD in charge of Fannie and Freddie forcing them to make 42% of all loans to people who do not qualify and eventually default our country into socialized banking 1998 NAFTA send all the manufactureing jobs to mexico taken those poor workers who he gave loans to jobs with them. 1999 repeals Glass-Steagall the law created by FDR that made sure that Comercial and retail banks can't mix, this is the wall to protect us from another depression. so while Bush was useless as a get it done president he is hardly responsable for scary changes as much as your beloved Democrats.

Lovely. John McCain is now a socialist. Why in the world does he want to make me I pay the mortgages of people who made bad judgements? What ever happened to the concept of personal responsibility? AAARG

Bush will go down in History as someone who protected us against terrorists- just wait till January and I'm sure our enemies will be eager to test us with a new inexperienced president.
